I’ve been dealing with so much depression, to the point of suicidal thinking, and so much emotional pain it became physical.
I felt the heaviness in my chest, and it felt like I was emotionally bleeding out. But HE STEPPED INTO my moment and revealed to me that the reason I was having such a hard time trusting him through my circumstance is because I’ve been under such heavy attack from the enemy, and somewhere along the line, forgot that God is good, because the enemy deceived me into believing that God sent me into this season to make me grow.
I began to attach valor to my victim mentality, thinking it was there to produce something good. And though that is true, GOD DID NOT SEND IT, but He’s gonna use it...
This message is my “Christmas in July”
Oh the peace, in KNOWING He is GOOD. He will not harm me. He has a plan for me to bring me a hope and a future.
Breanna Echols I hope you are in a better place I pray that you continue to be strengthened by the good lord. My boyfriend I was 3 years that I lived with stopped answering mu calls last week while I was visiting my mom! I have been trying to hold it together because everyday the pain feels worse but I believe Jesus goes before me and he knows of Better days for me. I have never went to church and I fight depression and anxiety everyday especially missing my ex but I believe gods plan for me.
I pray that you are healed and feeling so much peace in Jesus name!

I went to jail for the first time in my life recently. Eye opening experience. I'll never take my freedom and life for granted again. Thanking God for my peace and freedom this holiday. God never left me even in my darkest hour. Praise Jesus!

I think some people who think their life is bad, try taking all of the personal belongings out of your room including bed, sleep on the floor for two days with lights on 24/7 and not be able to leave or go where you please, may put our lives into greater perspective. Maybe some of us parents need to do this to our kids. I think everyone should experience this at least once in their lives. Let us never take our freedom or lives for granted 🙏💜

I know... Nairobi Kenya ... I always say Pastor Furtick is my dad and he doesn't even know he is :).
I watched this teaching for the 1st time today, 3/26/2021. WOW WOW WOW!! What a powerful, on time message (more than 2 years after it was spoken). I started a positive affirmations journal a few days ago to remind me of who He is and who I am in Him and of His good plan for me. I always date and timestamp my journal and today's entry reads, "I will have peace in the process!!!" I wrote today's date and the time of my journal entry. The time was 12:34 and I heard Him say, "The process is step by step...1 2 3 4 (12:34)." HIS TIMING IS SOOOOO PERFECT. HALLELUYAH!!

This is a Rhema word for sure. Nairobi suffered a terrorist attack yesterday and I received some personal heartbreaking news. But the peace that surpasses human understanding will guard our hearts and minds. Amen.
What causes us Christians to still battle depression and anxiety yet peace was given to us freely is
-failure to make it right with God, David was depressed full of anxiety until he repented
-failure to listen to the Spirit of God which is our Helper to lead us through it
-failure to learn to meditate on the word of God that can help us to renew our minds.
-failure to forgive yourself and others always keeping yourself in pain of past.
-failure to understand the spiritual realms.
Once you figure out those your joy will never fall nomatter the circumstances either being disappointed, betrayed, challenged, cheated, you will know that those things are meant to happen to build your faith and to help produce the fruits of Holy Spirit within by keeping loving and to be kind to those who caused that situations into your life but knowing we wrestle not by blood and fresh but spirits, you can only come to that always letting yourself meditate. Once the situation occurs when it finds your mind, spirit into word you will overcome with right response about the circumstances. One thing missing is churches they don't teach people spiritual world yet it's cause of pain, failure, depression etc...most it's all about encouraging and motivation speeches hence letting people fight wrong battles
Amen and I have been battling anxiety depression panic attacks etc I'm praying reading the word but still going through the storm sometimes I feel as if I'm praying wrong or god doesn't hear me because I'm still suffering I'm trying to build my faith as well it's a struggle and all I want is my mind back and peace 🙏
@@shanda7721 sorry dear depression is caused by spirit of worrying. I was once there but these verses helped proverbs 3:6-6 and philippians 4:6-7 and learn to meditate in them it once you feel that spirit of depression always say it to yourself until the word works in your life.
Anxiety is caused by fear, always say to yourself you're not slave of fear, sin, pain of past, worry, failure, sickness and disease but you're child of God wonderful made in God's image whose will is for me to always be joyful and peaceful nomatter how challenging my life maybe because He promised me even when am in fire, depth of waters, troubles He will be with me and now is with me because He told me behold have overcome anything that's against my joy and peace in this world. And always say this in your mind, soul and even loud if you can every time and everyday. O'Holy Spirit renewed my mind, spirit and body to feel the joy that Jesus Christ promised to me. O'Holy Spirit take more of me and give me more of Jesus Christ, take more of my pain, worry, fear, anger, hate, depression, anxiety and give more of love, Joy, peace, humble, gentleness, self control as You make me channel of light where there's darkness, channel of love where's hate, channel of forgiveness where am wronged, channel of kindness where there's need in people's lives. Always say those words to yourself and also read psalms 119 it will help you see how meditating on the word of God is so powerful than even praying because mediation brings revelation and revelation brings healing, deliverance and restoration because meditating is like speaking will of God into Your life directly and it works to manifest the power of the word and once your spirit learn to meditate whatever situation that occurs in your life it will find sword in your heart so that your joy can't fall nomatter how hard, difficult the situation might seems to be, you always say Lord told us He won't test us beyond our strength my joy don't fall nomatter the situation I am in I know it's for me to build my faith in Lord and if it's coming from enemy side I rebuke it in Jesus Christ and then start to command with authority and power Jesus Christ gave to change the situation. That's how my life has been full of joy and peace even when I get disappointed, betrayed etc... I my get sad, anger but I don't allow it to last for mins, i say to myself Lord You said to me it's ok to get angry but not sin am so angry, sad, disappointed etc.. about this situation or person but I take power to forgive because I too need your forgiveness and thanks You have tested me but let my joy not fall because You said to me the peace You give the world doesn't give it, it's the world and it's people that have disappointed and got me angry yet am not of the world there and than I feel Victorious over the situation and my joy just be filled even more. Just learn to use the word of God by also renewing your mind into Christ you will be set free am no longer slave of anxiety and depression yet I once was just thinking of suicide thinking am unworthy and always angry with people and circumstances but all of that are now history to Glorify Lord.

My hand is up, I just received Jesus
Hi I just put up a post and it vanished. I go to a little church in my hometown but by far this is where I get fed. I felt led to give a certain amount last week and the breakthrough was astounding. Not just financially but spiritually speaking it was a confirmation that I was on the right road on getting fed here and then going to church and giving out of that instead of sitting there and just receiving. Thank You Pastor Steven and Holly for reaching out to those of us who are elsewhere but stuck spiritually.

It's actually hidden in my everyday struggle and hurdles and it's so amazing to learn that once I approach towards it with Jesus as my guide, i'll find peace everyday, in every little struggle i'll learn to find peace. I love that God's word is timeless and that a word given to me today was planned over 2 years ago when first preached by you and thought about when the Father sent His perfect Son to die for my fruitless desire to be perfect. God is using your messages to speak to and grow me in so many ways. I watch online and am part of the efam. Each week I think “this is the best message I’ve ever heard” yet somehow the following week I think “no this is the best message” They are all so clearly spirit lead and always speak to me. Thank you so much for allowing God to speak through you and sharing His message! God, I pray that in 2019, you open the hearts and bring the people who are lost, confused, depressed, anxious and cry their hearts out at night out there into your comfort and into listening to your words from Paster Steven. I was one of those people. For a year of listening to every sermon on CZcams from your words through Paster Furtick, I am now a changed person. I had forgiven, became a better mom to my 5 kids and a best friend to the man I hated the most in my life. The pain has been lifted of my shoulders. My heart is full of love, I quit drinking for over a year because of you my Heavenly Father, your love is endless.
My abusive husband of 25 years has been forgiven and the people I used to run away from because of my shame, pride, and guilty feelings...are now my friends. I am a witness of my own life changing through becoming a new Christian.
May the Lord keeps opening my heart and my mind into new learning and let me pass down your grace to others that are in pain great pain as I was in my past 30 years. I’m so thankful for my Paster Steven Furtick and his wonderful family members. Everything through Elevation Church has changed and saved my life. Many blessings in the New Years to come! I pray and hope one day I can thank this wonderful man for his greatest effort and purest heart in preaching to heal those that are suicidal, hurt, depressed, and lost in person. This was my greatest battle in my life. This is the greatest gift, my blessings.

My missing piece is my husband who ran away... God is teaching me to find His peace in this very difficult season of my life. When I was all paralyzed, all shaking literally in front of this huge enemy who destroyed my marriage, when I found myself all helpless deep in this valley of the shadow of death, God came to meet me there, and literally pulled me out of that muddy place and walked with me, and has been teaching to breathe again in His peace which transcends for sure all understanding. Praise God for such loving grace!
