They take what Fortnite gives and make their own explainations for it. Like how there was a rift in the sky in Chapter 2 Season 3 and instead of saying it was Thor, they made it where Fade and Penny caused it.

The simple reason is: Epic uses the same gameplay animations for all skins, because skins are merely cosmetic. Just as all skins in-game appear right-handed because they carry weapons in the right hand, they all put the scope to the right eye... even if it makes no sense in-universe for a character who has a blind eye or eyepatch on the right side. Otherwise Epic would have to program left-handed animations for a few skins like Midas. Too much work. Just ignore it and imagine in-universe Midas pops the scope to his left eye.
The only case so far I've found where Epic made two slightly different poses depending on if the skin is male of female, is the new Lunch Break emote from the LazarBeam skin bundle. Male skins sit on the crate with legs spread wide, while female skins sit with knees together but the feet apart (in that "Japanese school girl" pose), so the feet are always at the same anchor points but the knees are together since some female skins were miniskirts and it would look... awkward if they sat with spread legs.
