- This video is about replacing the battery of a Casio WV200E and also the strap. I will do also a small cleaning and try to judge wether is suitable for everyone or not.

Great watch. He's been through a lot :) Four screws around the display are not fake. You could unscrew them, remove the bezel and clean the case. Crystal is mineral (not acrilic), heavy scratches = sand(?)
a deeper cleaning will only increase it's value. worth to try!
It's true that the screws are real, but they are only decorative. The metal-bezel is normally glued to the watch with double sided addhesive tape.
I would also repaint the letters in the bezel. Since the ltters are recessed you can paint them over and wipe the surplus away with some tissue and/or your fingers. I recommend enamel paint from Revell for that job. One or two layers and the letters will look like new.

I actually like my Casio watch very much, I'm not sure of the model but it's got all the doodads and gizmos and compass it's been very reliable and consistent little bulky though. The only one I liked more was a Coleman which I think was a rebrand of something else, I wore that thing until the display faded. I also have a Timex which is smaller and I do like it a lot the back light is different but it has the start split button on the face which also changes the time zone and I find it gets bumped a lot even though it's a smaller watch it's a nice size. Apart from that button I thought about getting a different model of the same size without the button on the face. I like to wear 2 watches it balances the arms, Plus I find whenever I want to know the time it's always the hand that's carrying something that my watch is on that day.

It's a shame he doesn't put on a two-tone black and silver metal bracelet that compliments its stainless steel and black watch!
I preffer also the metal bracelets…they look better

You can cut the strap just past the keeper so it doesn't stick out
It can be cutted, but I wouldn’t lile to destroy the strap. Better in it’s original shape

Suruburi noi, 2 baterii, bratara noua cu design aiurea, lipsa garnitura de etansare, sasiul stramb, vopseaua dusa... chiar merita? Am si eu un WV 200 dar daca ajunge in halul asta mai bine imi cumpar un model mai nou.
Salut! Sincer diferenta de pret dintre unul SH si unul nou este destul de mica. Si eu recomand unul nou. Daca ceasul reprezinta valoare sentimentala atunci merita fiecare banut ;)

Too large strap…but do not get me wrong the watch itself looks good
