I have a jato 3.3 After rebuild that for my jato would not start with Ez start nor Pull Start, So after watching your video a couple of times ,I torn the engine apart again and found the rear crank that goes to the back plate of engine has a hair line crack no wonder it would not crank. IT BURNS NITRO NOW 👍

Honestly if you go on ebay you can pick up the 2.5 pretty cheap buy a 3.3 crank and put the 2.5R cylinder head on and OS LC3 glow plug

@thebug4046 well with that being said... do I replace my 2.5 witha new 2.5 and 3.3 crank or just get a 3.3? I'm not sure if I want to spend the 100 bucks USA for the os 11k but I want a good motor on this revo.. I've been on your page for like 9 hrs today going back and fourth on my best options... I'm ready to buy something this weekend

@@damonbridgmon7199 the 11k is a little expensive but it's awesome to have and you can put it on any of your Traxxas engines. But if you go with just the 3.3 crank in your 2.5 thst will wake it up big time

Came across your channel and not meaning to brag but a year ago I got tired of dealing with my Traxxas 3.3 engine on my revo that I bought brand new. So I swapped in a LRP .32x spec 4 and I’ll tell you one thing it was all worth the money. Just recently I got it modded and a buddy of mine that was modding it even said that it was the very first engine that he’s ever seen that didn’t need timing adjusted. I also recently bought a Traxxas Revo platinum and I’ll be swapping in a O.S .21 tm in it with a THS racing pipe.

How much is a piston / sleeve/ bearing kit? 280.00 is to much for a new motor. Thanks for sharing prices. Its a huge factor rebuilding these. Esp for a son that might run it up a tree!

The 3.3 cost 320$ here and it's about 150 for a rebuild here so that's the reason. I know in the USA it's fairly cheap to buy new ones
