Mate, if I may be so familiar from over here, you are a legend! Your videos have been enormous help in my struggles keeping two Saabs on the road; you are what it says on the tin: an enabler, you've succeeded in your mission!
With my first years service warning now the only car worry I have {with my first car that has new car warranty in over 40 years driving} it's a bitter sweet moment {with a hint of schadenfreude I cannot lie!} watching your Saab videos now, but my admiration for you just grows. Thank you.

Another great and informative video Cyclone Cyd, I don't suppose you fancy doing a head gasket replacement video?? You can use my car?? Just been given the bad news by my local garage... guess I'm looking for another shitbox as garage price is out of my budget.. and I know I know another Saab is not in my budget..
Update.. so 24 hours after this comment, I found out you can no longer buy shitboxes for under £1,500 so I told my mechanic to go ahead.. but we're doing it properly.. bought a shit-ton of parts from Neo Brothers including head gasket, intake and exhaust gaskets, head bolts, valve cover gasket, water pump, timing and balance chain, timing cover gasket, and a new radiator.. 4 weeks later, and I'm just waiting on the seal and gasket to get shipped from Sweden for the thermostat housing, which decided to leak once the engine was back together... all this work will come to nearly 3x what I paid for the 9-3 aero convertible in 2018... this hurts.. but not as much as using public transport to get to twice weekly hospital appointments over the last month... the trials of life... I can't wait to be back behind the wheel
Update 2... 11 weeks without a car while the garage ran into multiple issues.. cylinder head was sent to sudbury, came back, everything put back together, then it had multiple misfire.. garage could not resolve this even after replacing all 4 oem saab coil packs with 4 new oem coil packs - I wouldn't mind but they replaced them 3 years ago and the car had only done 4,500 miles since... the garage was totally stumped so the shipped the car to Saab &Vauxhall who managed to get the car running in time with no misfire **hint for anyone replacing timing chain, do not use the slotted gears as these are for vauxhall** anyway I now have the car back but due to unforseen health issues, I've only driven it once... can't wait to drive soon...
I like the Saab tee shirt design but would prefer a less cartoon like one! I've got a 2010 9-3 Aero over here in the US that I'm trying to keep in tip top shape. Keep these videos coming!!

I ran into this several years back and this was my permanent fix , Once you get it out it apart and clean contacts with electric contact cleaner, put back together and then look at the back you can actually slide the locking pin back. I held the pin back and jammed gum foil so it can't lock and now I can't freely remove my key from off position doesn't matter in gear and I've only did that when car was off lol
All I did was pour in some 95% alcohol, and sprayed some silicone grease in and problem solved

Regarding your coolant tee replacement hose please, i want to purchase one but is there any chance you could provide me with the clips?
I live in a remote area of Spain and recieve no mail or parcels , i have to trek to the nearest village post office where hopefully a parcel awaits..doing the trek once is hard for me due to poor health so i try where possible to get any orders in one package .. obviously i would pay for the clips.. would that be possible at all please..? regards..
