Religious people certainly have an aura of "soft headed gullibility" around them
Richard Dawkins is a personable fellow and I tend to like him, probably because of his intelligence and easy going manner. As a Christian, I enjoy his intellectual challenges and I pray for him. I do not consider him an enemy. Also as a Christian, whether one believes it is true or not, it is wonderful to have a hope beyond this earthly life. My faith in God and the wisdom of the Bible sustain my joy day by day, helps me to be a better person, and gives meaning to my existence on this planet. I will continue to enjoy Dawkins intellect, pray for him and wish him the best.
Why pray and wish the best for him?
Because as a Christian it is what I am supposed to do. Not out of obligation, out of love. I wish the best for you as well even though I don't know you. Blessings.@@leebode4643

@@eugeneteddyowusu4289 Why would someone want to spend time with someone who threatens them? i.e. threat of hell. believe or burn. That mentality "Isn't" for alot of people. Even if threat of hell were removed, spending eternity with only 1 person would get boring. There's probably a lot of people I wouldn't want to be around and vice versa, that doesn't mean I'd want them to be tortured, no less, tortured forever. Come on now.

The will of the Father is to love one another. Yet, many good Christians are deniers of man-made climate change not to mention the many millions who succumb each year to fossil fuel air pollution from gas cars. If you turn away from these things is that really loving in the way God wants?

If it was a good battery and believed in the battery of all gods then it goes to battery heaven and gets put on the charger for eternity, if it was a bad battery and didn't believe in the battery of all gods then it goes to God hell and gets put its positive terminal to ground for eternity and shorts out in Great agony forever

Dawkins is a perfect exemplar of the falsity of this old chestnut. He, and countless others live perfectly well by the "do unto others" rule which long predates Christianity.

I'm so blessed that I believe in God and Jesus Christ and angels! I've had so many beautiful spiritual experiences that I KNOW God and Jesus, the Blessed Virgin Mary , angels and saints are real!.And uhh I don't fear death, its a part of our human conditIon on this Earth. I've had family members die very peaceful deaths! I've experienced very special.things in my life that I attribute 100% to God!
I work in a nursing home and I've seen some pretty special things among the suffering of these sweet souls and also among those who were dying! Atheists have every right to not believe, and I and other Christians have every right to believe in God Jesus Christ the Blessed Mother, angels and saints! And this belief is based on love, not fear and on facts, facts of our experiences!
that is a delusion. you actually believe you also know the virgin Mary? now that one is really ludicrous. the virgin wasn't even supposed to be anything but an ordinary woman. you actually believe a human being who died thousands of years ago can communicate with you? even if she did have a spirit that's still out there why the hell would she want to be bothered by the voices of billions of living people? that would be utter torture! god - hey Mary, I know you're in heaven. But in addition to having me take your virginity on earth without your consent, now you can't have any peace in heaven, cuz you gotta listen to every human on earth that might pray to you.

Oh really? If what you say is even 1% true, you would most certainly NOT believe in heaven or hell. Because if atheists had every right to not believe in what you believe, then your christianity would not be telling people that non-believers would go to hell.

I don't think that holds up under scrutiny. Everyone is free to believe that fire will not burn them, but we would be remiss in not warning them of the danger. To a Christian, their belief in certain things such as Hell is as real as fire whether one chooses to believe in it or not. And they want to prevent others from suffering. So when Christians warn of hell, they are having your best interests in mind whether you like or accept it or not. Admittedly, some horrible Christians use it as a bludgeon and are very condemning, but that is not Biblical. You can call them out or just ignore them. Blessings. @@ashokseshadri8331

As I understand it, the notion of Hell as eternal torment experienced in an afterlife is a relatively recent addition to original Biblical doctrine. It seems just as likely that the alternative to eternal life in Heaven is simply supposed to be death.
Not that I believe in any of this stuff - just that I think the church invented a particularly cruel fate to encourage compliance.
