Ogilvie syndrome (also known as acute colonic pseudo-obstruction) is a condition involving signs and symptoms of a large bowel obstruction but in the absence of an actual mechanical obstruction/occlusion. It often occurs in hospitalized, post-surgery, and elderly patients. It can often cause a variety of symptoms. In this lesson, we discuss the risk factors for getting Ogilvie syndrome, including the signs and symptoms, how it’s diagnosed and how it’s treated.

I've had overview syndrome since birth when I was diagnosed with ogilvie's syndrome in October of 2021 the doctors said that my colon had been growing with me since I was born PS this is not a joke cuz I know some people I tell it to think it was a joke but it's not a joke at all
