Today I have prepared the ever tasty Channa Masala! This is an all-time favorite for everyone out there. Try this easy and spicy Masala made with the flavor of Ginger, Garlic, Coriander, and the Channa Masala as per the specific measurements mentioned in the video! Ingredients
எண்ணெய் / Oil - 2 Spoon
பட்டை / Cinnamon - 1 Piece
லவங்கம் / Clove - 3
ஏலக்காய் / Cardamom - 2
பிரிஞ்சி இலை / Bay Leaf - 1
வெங்காயம் / Onion - 1
பச்சை மிளகாய் / Green Chilli - 2
இன்ஜி பூண்டு விழுது / Ginger Garlic Paste - 2 Spoon
அரைத்த தக்காளி விழுது / grinded tomato paste - 1½
வெள்ளை மூக்கடலை / Chick Peas - 150 Gms
வெண்ணெய் / Butter - 2 Cubes( 2 Spoon)
சென்னா மசாலா தூள் / Channa Masala Powder - 2 Spoon
மிளகாய் தூள் / Chilli Powder - 1 Spoon
மஞ்சள் தூள் / Turmeric Powder - ¼ Spoon
தனியா தூள் / Coriander Powder - 1½ Spoon
உப்பு / Salt - தேவையான அளவு / As Required
கொத்தமல்லி / Coriander Leaves - தேவையான அளவு / As Required
தண்ணீர் / Water - தேவையான அளவு / As Required
சீரகம் தூள் / Cumin Seed Powder - ¼ Spoon
நெய் / Ghee - 1 Spoon

My daughter wanted chana masal poori for breakfast on her birthday today. I was easily able to find all the ingredients at home itself even though it was last minute without going to shop in night. Thank you very much it was easy to make and all my family enjoyed it. 😊
Just tried this. Attagasamana taste. I have been trying various versions of chana masala off the internet all this while without much satisfaction. This recipe ends my search.

Thanks for the wonderful receipe. What I normally do is keep some boiled channa aside and grind it into a paste in a mixie and add the same as a thickener to the gravy and cook. Adding butter is quite interesting. Will try that next time.

Hi. In other video, you mentioned that, in restaurants ppl used to prepare 3 different types of paste for panner butter masala and store it for 2 r 3 days. If you post a video for preparing those pastes and how to use it fr different side dishes, it would be useful for many of us, even for working women it will be useful. Lovely recipe. Two doubts - Tomato sauce- should we saute the tomato and then grind it or grind it raw. Two - ginger garlic paste - grind them both raw together? Is it equal quantity ginger & garlic?
