- Nothing special about this bike. Just an old motorized bike I had that's been sitting around for ages. The bike sounds like the rear sprocket is out of true or just plum worn out. These single jug cylinders engines likely to over heat and lose power. My attempt was trying to seize the motor but I guess that didn't happen. Good old used 5w30 motor oil.
He blew that red light LIKE A BOSS!
OMFG that's Statesville NC, where I live- where're you located man? I'd like to see your build
So this one doesn't have disc brakes correct? likely the Disc brake set-up the new one comes with would prevent a motor kit from working huh?
that's correct. this bike i have is the older model that doesn't have any disc brake set up. all rim brake setup.
Do you have any pictures of the bike? I have a Sidewinder in my garage collecting dust, I didn't think I'd be able to fit a 66cc on that frame.
I don't have a picture on CZcams. It should fit if it's an older model.
I would really appreciate it if you could assist me with mine.
How fast ?
i don't know but all i know i can keep up with traffic in town.
Did you have to cut the frame to get the carb to fit?
no, unfortunately i fabricate my own intake manifold in order to make fit
@@iceyaj3167 ahh I see thanks for letting me know
@@pacing1978 you're welcome. Not a problem
How much does cost to put all that onto the bike ? Not including the bike itself.
it depends. these kits range from 100 to 200 dollars depending the size of the engine and seller you're buying from. just make sure you have a V-frame bike so the engine will fit. in most case if you have a 26" bike or bigger with a V frame you won't have a problem installing. check out on amazon and ebay. the kit comes with everything you need to motorizes a bicycle.
@@iceyaj3167 Do u built for people? if so how much for labor and if I provide a bike. Will it work with a bike with disc brake?
@@tengyang1102 i don't really build it for people but i can help and assist them. its way cheaper and better off building your own because you'll understand your build and if something goes wrong you know how to fix it. keep in mind these set up isn't a issue free meaning some where down the line you'll have to make adjustment or fix an issue that occur. if you know how to turn a wrench and trouble shoot and do this just for fun than this build is for you.
