Can the Avantis be used with the DLive mix racks..? What would be necessary since the C/DM mix engines are audio processors and the Avantis process audio as well……

Hello,
Linking two SQ's together will allow you to share audio with each other, this doesn't 'cascade' the consoles to increase the channels. You could however create a mix on one, then share that as a stereo channel with the linked console.
Please be aware that SQ has one local SLink port, and you can add a secondary port by fitting an SLink optional card, which will allow you to integrate the GX4816 and the link to the second SQ. However, if both SQ's are having a GX4816 expander, you won't have any further SLink port available for the digital split towards the Monitor units.
I recommend using Dante through a Dante card and DT168 expanders for such setup.
