We're seeing them deal with utterly over the top anti-semitism by being sincerely kind and trying to deradicalize him. _They're used to this._ That's the gut punch. Borat is a caricature of things that can seem outlandish to most of us, but to others it's a lived reality. These women have had to deal with real life Borat's before and that alone means we still have a long way to go. That's the point of the Borat character.

Instead of been proud of her for the way she handled this situation , they filed a lawsuit vs the movie creators (not sure what happaned with ti). This is the type of woman every religion or manority should be proud of having as representative. A guy walked in with the most rasist and offencive outfid. Instead of attacking or berating him for it , she approched him with kindness and understanding. She defused the situation in the best possible way. To bad her family didnt saw that.

Also apparently Cohen went on record saying he told the woman AFTER filming that it was for a comedy film which he apparently rarely does. I understand it would potentially be in character to cause some fake outrage to garner interest for the movie but the fact that Cohen said something genuine like how he was honest to her indicates this isn't the case.
