I legit love this idea. Let’s be honest the functionality of a digital watch is superior to a classic watch, but the aesthetics and tradition of a classic watch is hard to pass up. Aesthetics matter and attempts to smash the two into one watch don’t usually turn out so well (although I do miss the old ana digis). It’s a slick idea.

But now, because of this video, I can have the best of both worlds! I literally did this four months ago with a Seiko 5 on a Nato strap and a G-SHOCK using the G-SHOCK's caseback screws to hold it in place. The mod worked just fine and was really sturdy. Undid it though, because the module felt uncomfortable, when resting my wrist. Guess it would be a little less of a problem with the slim Casio, but still a nuisance. Both watches are still fine. But fumbling the spring bars back into the Casio can be challenging.

Hello!, and thank you very much for another thread. This is a very good idea, and you got the reason as well, the humble Casio F91-W is cheap but at the same time it is really tough!. I had wore when I was spear-fishing even in a 20 m. depth. Resisted in that way several years of use, three times per week, only having several scratches in his plastic cover. Your advice is also welcome because I like jogging and also going outside for a walk in the nature and this is a fantastic complement. Together with compass and bullbars protection the nylon NATO strap is unbeatable. I wouldn't wear a Rolex Explorer on it but rather a Hamilton Kahqui Fiel f.ex. or a Seiko Alpinist or those of many different 5's, etc....

As mentioned when you first showed this I love the idea of the 2 watch one strap idea. When exercising I do tend to wear 2 watches. But I am tempted to try this. Great idea sir 👍

Tgv similar solution, your casioak. I just made one very similar to yours(plain leather not aligator) it's not a dress watch but it's dressy. World time displayed and then the hands would be local time or stopwatch and hands.

I was in Walmart today and decided to check out the watch shelf to see for humor value what they had. Other than some $10 cheap looking 50mm quartz watches, they had a shelf of casio. Couple g-shocks, a f91w, a couple that kinda looked like a f91w, and thing that was basically a mini f91w. I couldn't seem to find a reference number, but it was cute in a "if my 3 year old needed a watch" kind of way. Oddly, other than the g-shocks, the most expensive casio was actually the f91w, which was $15, while the other casio digital (including the mini thing) were $10.

Pretty clever, man. I like it. I want to say I think I saw this concept a couple years ago... I think it was something to do with adding Sinn and Apple Watch in much the same fashion. Being a Sinn fan, perhaps u may remember this thing?
I'm not sure if they ever really made this or if it was even popular at all?

Still can't believe I'm not the only one who wears a digital and a analog on the same strap. Also what song do you use in your intro?
Helpful tip: If the strap is too thick for the Digital watch, a good solution is getting an Elastic strap (Like a NDC), I have a Casio AEW1000 and the space between the Springbar and the case is so small and weird shaped that, aside from the original Strap, Elastics are most likely the ONLY strap options. Though I'm interested to try a Perloin Strap.
