Turned out to be 36mm, confirmed by the keen Mechanic (good source of info in the Vivaro) but thanks for reply. Hope your bearing comes off easier than mine, it was seized on ☹️. Had to wallop it out with a big hammer on the bench after removing the whole assembly. Actually, when i got started i got carried away and removed the whole rear axle assembly. Got a clear view of all the rusty bits now 😁
Mine Failed on the exact same things both rear calipers & hand brake, so like you i put on new calipers but done discs and pads as well as mine where shot..
Like you said be glad when the summer comes so no longer laying on your back in the bloody wet & rain..
What year is your van and what size engine ,is it diesel do you think they are a good van, so much cheaper than VW
@@liambyrne591 mine is a 2003 1.9dti and 90% converted into a camper i've had a few problems but are quite an easy van to work on
Great Job
Thank you
Hi, great video, thanks for posting. About to take the hubs off my van and had the same problem as you, biggest socket ive got is 32mm, did the 34mm you got fit ok, thanks
I’ve not actually done them yet I’m working on another project, I’ve bought a hub socket set off Amazon that has 30mm to 36mm in it so hoping one of them fits when I get back onto the van next week
👍
Hello, Sir.
I have a question. The timing chain in my VW Fox 2006 car has stretched.
Do you think it's okay to drive 10 miles a day, but only for short distances? Thank you very much in advance for your answer.
I’m not a mechanic by any means but I wouldn’t drive it with. Stretched chain
@@shaunpearsonofficial thank you very much indeed
HI DAD ONE OF MY VIDEOS GOT 10K VEIWS 😂
Why dint you go to a scrap yard and take a second hand hand brake from a crashed vivaro van and fit it to your van then at least you would have a Brand new hand brake
Because a handbrake from a scrap yard could be no better than the one that was on, it’s had all new bits for the handbrake on now
