Hey Nate! I'm so glad you took a shot of your room. In the 90s, I believe 2 times, South of the border was a meeting place for family reunions for my family. Like you said its so bad but you love it. Lol. We would meet there in the summer for a few days and exchange Christmas presents from the previous year with family we didn't get to see. It was bad then, looks like your stay is a little bit of an upgrade. Thanks for bringing back memories.

I would love a video explaining more about how Orlando Informer actually works. The ins and outs, I really want to do this one time with my mom. Everything from how to buy tickets, how and where exactly to check in, all the details. I would love that!!
He has other videos from other Informers where he was more detailed- theres one from I think back in February. This one seemed like a more "chill" video :-) Or check out his friend Kristens channel- she just went, too, and gives some more details.

I never stayed at South of the Border. Though we used to stop when I was a kid. On the way from Long Island NY to Orlando.
Mostly got fireworks there.

I just went to islands of adventure a few days ago and I waited 4 hrs with my family in line to get to get pictures with the grinch .paid 30 dollars for 1 picture had a choice of 3 ,was a little disappointed the photographer didn't give us a heads up when taking the picture felt very rushed considering we waited 4 hrs ,more than half the rides were closed down .was not very happy about it considering i paid 119 plus tax for 4 tickets and 60$ for a tank of gas 30$ to park 2 holiday cups all you can drink for 30 $ and they closed at 7 .unless you have annual passes it just isn't worth it

Hi nate! Just wanted to share that about 20 years ago I stayed at SOB motel on my drive to my parents . (PA to FL). It's more about the experience . I remember passing SOB when I was driving down with my parents 1969 when I was 10. I don't know how that place is still surviving. It always looks empty. Anywho, enjoy the family and Merry Christmas!

The OI looks and sounds amazing - food included, little/no wait times. However, I can’t imagine eating theme park food beginning 9pm~ish. Gack. Also, many CZcamsrs comment that the food isn’t as good as it is during the day … which, at best, is “good for theme park food.” Guess if Taylor gave me free access I’d try it. Agreed, the best thing would be IF we were selected to ride the Pteradon Flyer. I’m a UOAP holder, book at a premier hotel. Little wait. Look like ya’ll have fun.
