Crazy storm week! It’s calmed down a bit the last few days and I’m just chilling and editing footage that’s backed up. We’re in an arctic airflow atm, so it’s -20 or so outside
Def lots of stuff happening that day, even realizing in hindsight that chopper was prob picking up the lost hiker or related when we arrived at Whistler P2P, hectic

is this dream powder day in whistler? the view and tree runs looks awesome but seems like they hit the bottom most of the time. I expected deeper powder. Could someone let me know if this is average whistler powder day or not? I'm thinking about spending whole winter season in whistler. Should I go to Niseko this season as well?
Dare I say that your riding was much more solid on the Orca? Did the mysterious powers of the Orca inspire more confidence or was it just the glorious bond between man and beast? Haha sick footage!
It’s tough to plan ahead as the precipitation seems to vary most years. Usually February is unusually dry but this year it’s been great and January was no good. Generally I’d say March before it gets busy or Jan after the New Years madness
@@ChrisEyres Cheers. I know it’s all unpredictable but good to get a local perspective. I went to Sunshine Village & Lake Louise 10 years ago & was amazed how often the pow got refreshed. Just hoping for something similar & only heard good things about Whistler. Just got to convince my wife of it next then will start making plans end of the summer. Appreciate your reply. From base to peak you have to take 2-3 lifts, it probably takes about 35 minutes
