Hearts of Iron IV is a grand strategy wargame developed by Paradox Development Studio and published by Paradox Interactive. Released on June 6, 2016, it is the sequel to Hearts of Iron III and part of the Hearts of Iron series of grand strategy games focusing on World War II. The player may take control of any nation in the world in either 1936 or 1939 and lead them to victory or defeat against other countries.
Feedbackgaming is known for his exploits, cheats, unlimited money videos. Is inspired by other successful influencers like the spiffing brit, isp, bokoen and tommykaylive.

I would say if you want to keep republican Spain alive, it is. Sometimes it makes a lot of dumb decisions.

I tried it myself and even with fully upgraded tactical bombers, they still have less ground attack than actual CAS. The only benefit I can see with using tac bombers is that they're able to strat bomb and logistics strike better while doing ground support.
Also, operational integrity doesn't give as many buffs to ground support as battlefield support and instead gives you a lot of really good bonuses to fighters as well as everything a tactical bomber can do, which is everything, which also means the bonuses are pretty spread out.
Tac Bombers have better range, your fighting in an army which is well built up and there’s no many airports they tend to be better in practicality
Tac bomber works in wide air area like China, India, Pacific Ocean, etc
they also have the RANGE
crutial for the fighting in africa with their extra thicc airzones
if you play up to then (or just cheat research) the last jet tac bombers have more ground attack than cas 3. it's gonna get reworked in the next big update anyways

I wish there was a country with a branch revoled entirely on volunteers.... I hope they will add something like that to south america. The issue with volunteers is that the small nations don't have much of an army to allow you to send many volunteers, while the big nations will eventually be dragged in WW2, not to mention that there are restriction to sending volunteers depending on ideologies and world tension. I think there should also be a generic advisor that increase volunteers cap and decrease tension requirements.
How about a Swiss volunteer mod?

The big democratic countries should have a very small army and air exp modifier from the Spanish civil war to simulate the volunteers fighting in Spain from those countries. Especially since we have so many famous authors were war correspondents in the war, such as Hemingway and Orwell

USSR volunteers can basically make core of your game.
1. In Ethiopia I do send mountaineers and supply guns for both sides. Italy can basically get toothless and get run over by France. You can grind ultra defensive general (I do use Vatutin with Budyonny).
2. Rest of your mountaineers with tanks can make you nice spanish puppet.
3. I actually do Sinkiang path with killing Chiang Kai-Shek in Asia, so I do not have pun for that.
4. If you gradually expand your military in manpower and numbers, what you can send abroad is definitely not a volunteer force :D
5. A fact that The Red Army can hold Danzig as well as Netherlands and French Alpes can spoil you a proper Great Patriotic War :D

I've DONE this strat as sov. You should train up many more of those small cav units. As you send volunteers it lowers your army size and decreases the number of units you can send. If your army were larger you could send 9 to France and England each. Don't forget about Norway, DIE, and the Raj.
EDIT: LOL, kept watching and saw that you got the countries that I mentioned.

An easy fix is to remove recon light tanks and buff the armored car recon. Then they can nerf flame tanks into just providing terrain bonuses. Honestly flame tanks should just be a negative attribute company with the terrain bonuses they have

You can send up to 23 divisions to France and up to 25 divisions to the UK. You need 750 divisions to be able to do that, so spam 1inf...
I did this once, and even worse without DLC so no air volunteers. Holy shit that was a logistics and micromanagement nightmare…..

I think PDX should change the volunteer system - it should be based by war, then by country.
So, for example, you could send volunteers to the Allies during WW2, and the quantity of volunteers and airplanes would be based on the same algorithm, just with all the countries on that side added together. (Ex. if Germany is 7 and Italy is 5 you'd be able to send 12 volunteers to the Axis). This would also allow you to more easily organize generals, field marshals, etc. It would also be a good system for them to integrate into a South American DLC (wink wink).

As germany i trained a 200 of 1 soldier divisions and i could send 14 volunteers to each country
There is a cap based on the size of the nation your sending them too

wait, has paradox still not fully fixed volunteer supply? did the "no connection to capital" issue persist THROUGH the logistics overhaul? or am I missing something?
(if you're not familiar I know at least a few people, myself included, who have sent volunteers and something weird happens with supply pathing, where even if you're sitting in the capital of the country you sent volunteers, you get no supply. it seems to sometimes have something to do with supply to your OWN capital, like if your volunteers can't get a connection to your capital they don't supplies, but that doesn't always seem to be the deciding factor. here it looks like feedback sending a bunch of volunteers to all these different countries but then concentrating them all in the same spot may have made it hard for them to connect to the original country they were sent to? or maybe they just couldn't stop eating all the baked beans. I don't understand these games sometimes)

@@DaveFeedBackGaming I tried something in my latest game with some success and wondered your thoughts: create a hvy flame tank then make a duplicate template that equips AA instead of the flamer, i then added a single company to my front line battalion. Massive armor boost and AA coverage for like 20 tanks.

Nope, at least in my experience, not really.
In the new system troops use local regional supply first and only after that is used they start shipping stuff in by the networks.
