I was barely able to make it over Vail Pass this last week with my lockers engaged. I’m not sure why they did not have the chain laws on, but it almost screwed me.

Yes sir.. I learned at a young age how to feather a throttle and allow the machine to work for you. I did not know if I was going to make that one though. So I was staying close to the shoulder just Incase I had to suck up my pride and throw chains. Lol.. thank you.

You need more training bro.. I don't know if you are a company driver or a lease op or owner operator.. however somebody messed up you should have better tires than that going through the Rockies. If you didn't want to put on chains then you should have put on socks. If you don't have any then get some please. This is coming from a very well experience driver of 38 years
😂😂 I drive over the Rockies every year over and over. Not saying I know everything. Because we can always learn. But I’m more than capable of driving in any conditions. The Rockies don’t have anything on the Alaska ice roads. Trust me, I have plenty of experience in sub par conditions. But thank you for your recommendations. Yes I do carry chains year around. I just did not need them that time.
There should be a tunnel going under it. There's no reason at all to put this section on an interstate!! They also don't seem to upkeep the roads during snow storms.
