Resident allowed to return home after evacuation in Manawa

The National Weather Service says the area got 3 to 6 inches of rain which prompted evacuations, due to a breach in the dam along the Little Wolf River.
In an update Friday afternoon, city officials said the structural integrity of the dam itself remains intact.

Im sure no one saw this a possibility. Seems suspect. Lord help thoes in the path.
