- When it comes time to replace your windows, the first step you’ll need to take before you get a quote is to measure the size of the window(s) you’ll be replacing.
Having an accurate measurement will ensure your job is completed as quickly as possible and without any setbacks.
Once you've got your measurements, find a ViWinTech dealer near you!

This is the most unhelpful help video I’ve ever seen
Agree

For instructional purposes, you should actually show the jambs you are measuring with the tape with a close up. You show it on a isometric digital sketch. Nothing is better than what you will actually see. Fun video though. Thanks
exactly
That’s exactly what I came to learn and he hid it the whole time 😢
Thank you! Important info!
You explained nothing about the measuring of windows. Absolutely nothing ...!
Did we watch the same video?
You explained that great, thanks
Why would you measure jam to jam in the old window being replaced when you need the opening width?
Jamb is typically 3/4 so measure jamb to jamb and add 1 1/2"
Thanks for the video!
On a brick home (circa 1972) is it better to install from the outside or from the inside?
Id those terms ..
Zero usable information.
“Jam to jam????”
Yeah, closeups would be good to see where you're actually placing the end of the tape and taking the measurement from - also, did you say "heighth"? there's no H at the end of height :) thanks for trying though
Height is pronounced "hite" the Th is silent
Tool!
Don’t trust anyone who says “heighth”.
😂😂😂😂 some people here have a rock for a brain, for the people hard to understanding measure the width and the height
This video is almost worthless. It doesn’t show you where, on the jamb to measure to.
I totally agree. Waste of time.
what a waste of time
Another useless explanation.
You should delete your CZcams channel for good measure this was no help
