Been replaying The Witcher 3 for some time and doing "ALL QUESTS (Undiscovered Locations)" and found this very funny mission where Geralt's horse, Roach, talks to him - in Toussaint.

I don’t like how they dodge the question of why roach sounds like a male. Roach is female :/

I mean the whispering hillock, which is supposed to be the mother of the crones sounded to me like an old man or a guy who's been smoking pipes of fisstech their entire life.
That or they just couldn't find a VA to capture the demeanor of roach

I guess a counterpoint to that I guess would probably be like, how would we know what a female horse sounds like since they aren't similar to humans... Wait that's similar to what they mentioned in game
