- 23 Movies. 3 Phases. Here's what I think the DC Extended Universe could have looked like today, if they followed a similar phase by phase plan like the Marvel Cinematic Universe. DISCLAIMER: I really like what the DCEU has been doing lately. This is not a bash on DC at all. Keep doing you DC. Keep doing you. Watching this video a few months later gave me an idea.
Make A Marvel animated movie universe in the DCAMU's order and base it on the Ultimate Marvel universe with the base still being an amalgam of it and the MCU's continuity, while still feeling like it takes place in a entirely different version of the MCU. Because in my opinion, if Marvel really wants to get their leg up on DC, they should put out better animated features. Make your MAMU Avengers lineup with Thanos as the main threat.

This is really cool and interesting to speculate how DC would've gone about doing MCUs phases, but I'm happy that DC took a different route and Snyder's approach(before cancelling his projects). Either way an awesome video.

If they want to "catch up" tp marvel. They should have started with the trinity. 3 movies than World's Finest team up movie as a "pre-justice league" movie.

They are the most important in terms of founders of Justice League. Then after World's Finest movie do a Flash, Aquaman, Cyborg and whoever else they wanted movie. It might be better to start straight off with a Justice League movie. We already know characters like Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman, we don't need introduced to them again. We follow each of the heroes as these robots start to appear in their homes (Gotham, Metropolis, Atlantis etc), until eventually they are all lead to Washington DC (or maybe Metropolis, to make it more like a DC Universe) and have to team up together to take down Braniac. At the end of the movie, they announce that they are creating a team, called the Justice League. The post credit scene is of Lex Luthor investigating all the Justice League members, which helps the movie branch out into different solo movies, like Man of Steel, The Batman, Wonder Woman and Aquaman etc

I think this is a really good set up for all the movies. Only thing I would change would be not a Hawkman/ Hawkgirl movie, but a Booster Gold and Blue Beetle film. I think there is more to work off from those two. But other than that, spot on dude

Very well thought out! I could imagine the suicide squad movie taking place during the big Justice League Boss battle and at the end of the movie they feel the aftermath of it all. Got me hyped for a non existent universe lol.

If I were to make the dceu I would start with batman as I think this would be a good way to start it off as more of a grounded story and star world building so here's my list.
Phase 1
2008- The Batman, Ridler villain and catwoman anti hero
2010- The Batman 2, At the end this would tease superman and wonderwoman maybe like a reported interviews bruce Wayne and his name is revealed as Clark Kent. This move would also introduce Robin and have Joker as villain.
2011- Superman, Zod as villain lex Luther introduced
Wonderwoman- 2011 would really dive into greek mythology ares as the villain
Justice League- 2012 This would bring batman wonderwoman and superman together also introducing flash cyborg and Aquaman. I would maybe have lex Luther as the villain as he would be introduced in superman. We would also see parademon. And Darkseid tease and the first mother box.
Phase 2
2013- The Batman 3 the wrap up to batman trilogy with Ras al goul and the some other villains.
2013- Aquaman, his first solo movie showing the world of Atlantis.
2014- Wonderwoman 2. The face off against cheetah
2014- Suicide Sqaud, In the aftermath of batman 3 villains are put away only to be let out to do a job.
2015- The Flash, the first flash solo movie. Reverse flash as the villain
2015- Justice League Doom. Similar to the video except the main villain would be amazo. This movie would also introduce characters like Martin manhunter and Green arrow. Also another Darkseid tease.
2016- Aquaman 2
2016- Superman 2 introduce supergirl and have brainiac as villain. Also would tease Darkseid. And another mother box.
2016- Green Arrow, green arrow solo movie against deathstroke
Phase 3
2017- Suicide Sqaud 2
2017- The Flash 2 Godspeed, Barry faces off against godspeed and learns the ability to time travel
2017- Wonderwoman 3 I think Cronos would be a cool villain for wonderwoman
2018- Shazam a fun movie to brace for the next one
2018- Justice League Apokolps the arrival of Darkseid and the team up of all the hero's but it's not enough as the hero's lose and Barry runs back in time to try to change the past and the movie ends.
2018- Green and Black, Green Arrow and black canary movie, takes place right before Justice Leage Apokolps.
2019- Green Lantern, The introduction to the green lantern corpse, takes place many years before Justice League Apokolps .
2019- The Flashpoint Paradox, Barry running back in time finds himself in his old house the night his mother was murdered and stops the reverse flash, living in this Paradox he realizes that he must save his team and saving his mother only made things worst.
2019 Justice Leage United The Ultimate finale. And batman would die sacrificing himself as it started with him and now ended with him.
And that's my list.
Wow that took longer then it should have.
No Green Arrow movie (won't make sense, he's better off like Hawkeye or just the tv show), Godspeed isn't a main threat to flash (the rogues will be much better or introduced rogue first then reverse flash 2nd)
You should probably add one or two Martian Manhunter movies, as well as a Cyborg movie
No joke I had the exact same title idea for a Black Canary/Green Arrow movie.
My main problem with this is that it suffers from the same things the real lifr DCEU suffers from, a Justice League movie that has to establish three entirely new characters instead of building them up beforehand

@@NS-xx1ze Eh, they learned their lesson recently - Even WW84 looked very director-heavy. DC's strategy now seems to be "Let's let standalone directors do whatever the fuck they want with these characters in standalone movies. It'll work most of the time."
The DCEU isn’t trying to be “different and unique” they tried to build a cinematic universe like the MCU and failed miserably. They have no clear timeline, no buildup for any crossover and half their movies are mediocre. I’d much rather have a clean and airtight universe like the mcu

I’m from the future, and I come with a couple new pitches to add to this list:
Wondervision
This show would be about Wonder Woman being mind tricked by a mysterious witch (definitely Circe) into believing that she’s living a normal suburban life with Steve Trevor, however the two will learn that not everything is as it seems.
Steel and Superboy
Superman’s long time friend Henry Irons (probably would be Steel by the time of he Man Of steel sequel) discovers that Clark left him an updated suit made with kryptonian tech, as well as a new hammer, wanting him to carry on the mantle of Superman. However the government seized the gear and gave it to their own “Superman” who they call Amazo. (Yeah he’s an Android. But he actually has human emotions and a personality like Red Tornado or Vision. He’s kind of a dick.) Steel teams up with Superboy, the genetic clone of Superman who went rouge, to take down this false Superman and save the world! Or at least metropolis.
Flashpoint
After the events of the recent movies, Barry Allen vows to learn the secrets of the speed force, but something (or someone) knocks him into the time stream, sending him hurdling into the past. Because of his last time meddling adventure, he’s arrested by the Time Bereu (the people from Legends of Tomorrow). They agree to let Barry go and return to his own time if he helps them track down their fugitive (if we didn’t use them already, this could be either Reverse Flash or Cobalt Blue.)
Hawkman
A show about Hawkman’s son from his previous life, who is now a teenager and has no idea who his parents were.
Wow. Nice list. The only one I didn't like was WonderVision because it looks like a rip-off of wandavision. I know this is following the mcu blueprint but it still looks like a rip-off. But i still think that is a awesome list. Do you want to se mine?

Instead of Eternal i would do New Gods telling the story of Uxas rise to power and featurinh Orion, Desaad, Granny Godness, Steppenwolf,Kallibak and featuring the planet of Apokolips.
Instead of Spider Man 3 i would do a Teen Titans The Judas Contract movie featuring Tera.
Instead of a Miss Marvel show i wouls do a Static Shock show featuring Black Lightining as his mentor.
Instead of a Hawkeye show I would do a Green Arrow show where he trains Roy Harper to become the new Green Arrow after he retires.
Instead of a Doctor Strange 2 movie i would do a Zattana solo movie where Zattara dies.
And Instead of Captain Marvel 2 i would do a Martian Manhunter 2 movies where the mains villains are the white martians.
P.s-1-I would also love to see what other movies and shows you would do

Then we’d have a show about Metamorpho, if you don’t know him he’s like his weird shapeshifter dude who can like shift his body into different substances and materials. I know, weird pick but stay with me here. Then we get a firestorm series about Jason rusch and Ronnie Raymond, two teenagers who get caught in an atomic blast that fuses them together turning them into a superhero. The black lightning show would spin off into a show about Halo, an obscure teen titan/justice leaguer. She appeared in Young Justice Recently. There would also be a series centered around Cassie Sandsmark Wondergirl, but if we’re already using her for teen titans or Wonder Woman then we can sub her with Donna Troy, or even the new Brazilian Wonder Woman, i don’t care really just a show about a lesser known amazon who we can give a unique and interesting story too. Then, all the heroes come together in a team up show to form, get ready for this...The Outsiders. And those would be the dc Netflix shows.

One thing Snyder's storyboard reveal is that he was trying to do a legion of doom style story something mcu hasn't tried yet, I'd like a thunderbolts or dark Avengers movie from mcu tbh and I hope Snyder gets a chance to make his sequels

Honestly this was cool. Way better concept than what Snyder and WB were tryna do. The only thing I’d change is move the schedule up 1 year (so 2010 movies happened in 2009, 2011 movies in 2010, etc). I’d also have a second movie in 2009, and a second movie in 2012 that comes out before the first justice league

You don’t really need 20 other formulaic boring movies just too set up a cinematic universe sometimes you just have too take a risk the characters already popular in the animated universe that you don’t really need too make origin movies about them over just to tell us about the character

@@benakinnusi2518 not filler, but they feel really repetitive and some weren't even that great to begin with. It seems people just forgave all the flops the MCU had just because of endgame and give bullshit excuses like "it all lead to this moment", like yeah that's not really a valid excuse for the earlier flops throughout the MCU.

I think your overthinking a lot of it like DC and Marvel are very indifferent franchises there are 100s of interesting Marvel Characters after Endgame but you can’t do Justice League without Batman and Superman obviously Batman beyond exist and that’s grate but it can’t be In the middle of the movies it has to be a spin off also Superman’s son don’t know why no one cares abut him I like your work tho you asked at The End to let you know what our ideas are am actually planning a comic series reboot of both the DCEU and CW

I would really love to see the darkest night storyline played out over like 3-5 movies or a high budget show. It's been long enough since the last lantern movie and they are really missing out on what could be a super successful franchise with tons of spinoff potential. I know they have the GL corps show in the works but come on. The lanterns are the best part of DC in my opinion and are terribly underutilized in live action. Same with Martian manhunter.
Most creators have that one video that takes off because of its creativity and simplistically smart perception. I hope this is it for you bud. Very good show.

This was fire bro! A little patience and prior planning could have made a big difference. I went a different route when reworking the DCEU. The only rules were I had to start in 2013 with MoS and I tried to keep as many of the same movies but with better plots. Also I kept the 3 year gap to keep it as real as possible.

After that, they could do what they want. I felt like BvS had way too much happening. Man of Steel 2 could establish a way better Luthor and better motives for Superman to dislike Batman. Batfleck reboot would borrow from Dark Knight Returns in that Bats comes outta retirement. The typical Bat lore is already established at this point. With this, BvS can focus more on the conflicting ideologies of Bats and Supes rather than wasting time world building. Wonder Woman's role won't feel so shoe horned in.
Wonder Woman's and Aquaman's movies can stay mostly the same. Suicide Squad would come way after. It was too soon.
