Your dog is adorable. My dogs just started eating my mustard green plants and trying hard to get to my tomatoes. They literally mowed down a row of greens. I wanted to cry. I wasn’t as happy as you are when your baby eat from your garden. My husband laughed so hard.

My Yorkie loves to steward all the food in the garden just like Tuck. He loves carrots, lettuce, turnips, radishes, cucumbers, squash, and kale stems. He definitely watches over the plants from seedlings to harvest, knows each and every plant from the seedling stage, probably by scent. This is his tenth season gardening!

It's my first time gardening I have dug up my 1/2 acer lawn and turned it into a vegetable allotment and I have planted a fruit orchard at one end of the garden. Yesterday I harvested my first few strawberries and last week my first onions and raddishes. Honestly it's all thanks to you making these CZcams videos they are very inspiring and also educational. Unfortunately I couldn't grow lettuce or cabbage I tried but I think we get too much sunlight here during the summer at least 20 hours per day. But other things like sunchokes, beetroot, pumpkins, honeyberries those have absolutely exploded with huge growth. I got 6 free-range organic chickens now too I don't eat meat but I will eat the eggs and they will eat my excess vegetables. I'm sure you get so many comments that you couldn't possibly read them all but honestly thank you for being so inspiring and thanks to your dog too for being a good boy.

Your gardens are so so impressive and inspiring. This year I’ve done my garden differently following your steps and my Son has also started a garden. I used to think gardens were only during summer but you’ve taught me different, I actually have some peppers, Brussels sprouts, and collard greens growing since last summer and they’re still doing great. I so enjoy your videos and I Love seeing King Tuck. Happy Gardening.

I havent had a strawberry look that good in years, those at the store are hollow. I bet it was juicy, you will have to do the juice test for us. Those levels of sincerity are usually pimped out of "popular" influencers by building them into sociopaths and then using their own colonized greed/narcissism/etc -- whether by sponsorship or whatever carrots thepowersThatBe dangle in front of them to feed their thirst for popularity.

Very inspiring, thanks for sharing! My family and I have started a small backyard garden. We're learning how to homecan, seed save, make compost, and preserve what we grow. Every penny saved helps. Less than 2 years in our new home and we've completely transformed the backyard. We are beginner gardeners, growing and learning along the way. Recently I started a gardening channel to help encourage others to begin growing as well. No time better than now to learn self sufficiency.

Your video is a great reminder of the value of patience and perseverance. It takes a lot of time and effort to grow and harvest melons and oranges, but the end result is so worth it. If I was in an apartment I would either build my own, or if I had the money buy, a grow tent, then a nice LED for flowering plants, fans, etc. and be growing my most expensive food in the tent using organic soil and living mulch

Hey Gabrielle! You can use “bt” it’s organic and works on the cabbage loopers and worms, that’s probably what’s eating your cabbage 😁

a bacteria that’s only harmful to soft bodied pests.

I'm really curious, when did you plant all that stuff out? I'm here in Zone 6 and I just put all my starts in the ground a couple weeks ago, so I'm amazed at how lush and productive your garden is already! Mine doesn't usually hit its peak until late July.

I'm in the UK which is equivalent of Zone 9 apparently, and my tomatoes are nowhere near the size of James' plants. My pea pods are still flat. But my romaine lettuces are growing very well, although I only grow romaine because our ducks and geese like to eat it.

Amazing early harvest!!,! I love to see Tuck shopping in the garden! I miss my “little man” Patrick. He enjoyed shopping in our garden and ate lettuce, cabbage, carrots, radish etc too! Wow you got such a great early harvest. I’m in northeast Ohio 6b. I’ll have to check out more of your early spring planting vids! Thanks for the inspiration and for letting us see Tuck shopping in the garden! ❤️😂❤️

It’s beautiful to see your excitement with your harvest. This was my first year planting in raised beds but if not the crazy Maryland weather, crazy heat fluctuations, then the moles, then the birds AND the squirrels. Invested so much only to harvest a few munches of spinach. I give up.

Yay!!! Love the harvest! I just bought several Hallibar bins from IKEA, they hold 6 gallons, and they are made of PP (polypropylene), so they are food safe, that's what we'll use to get out harvests inside, they have handles, too! I think maybe they'd work great for you, too, James! Thanks for your inspiration! ❤️
