B76 Lemanjá: The story of 4,600 nautical miles

- This is a unique video - an interview with the owner after a long trip. It is made not only to showcase the boat; we wanted to get into the deep details of living aboard a Bering, check the customer experiences and satisfaction. After 4,600 miles between Antalya, Türkiye, and Portsmouth, Great Britain, this owner is happy - and is getting ready for the next trip.
So, what is covered in this feature? First and foremost, it is a story of a person who made a long way from buying a pleasure yacht to becoming a proud owner of a steel Bering. We talk about the benefits a steel hull gives you, about operating this boat, which is just under 24 meters, without the involvement of a crew, and about the advantages a full-displacement boat gives an owner regarding her size and volume.
A better part of the interview is dedicated to the recent trip B76 Lemanja had recently. Türkiye, Greece, Italy, Spain, Portugal, France, B76 traveled through these countries on her way to Great Britain, and this trip yielded so many good pictures and videos! The owner talks about how economical are the engines, what was the involvement of a crew throughout the trip, and how B76 has dealt with 2.5-meter storm waves and other patches of rough weather they hit on their way.
They were questions about the balance between life and work onboard, about the name of the yacht, and why the words Rock’n’roll are hanging on the wall in the sky lounge. Finally, the future plans, of which the owner has plenty, were discussed. One hint: these travels include a trans-Atlantic leg.
We would like to specially thank the owner for the photo and video materials he provided for this video. Personal footage always adds personality to any product created by a company. It is also great to realize that our clients trust Bering and are willing to share their experiences with us and our subscribers.
Keep up with the future Lemanja and other Bering boats’ travels by subscribing to this channel and our other social networks!

I really find these videos of actual owner/operators sharing their unique experiences. It's a very good testimony to the quality of the builder. In this specific case from what was shown of the yacht was amazing. She looks beautiful and I hope the owners get many more years of enjoyment out of her
Thank you for the nice comment! The owner's positive experience is what we love to see after these trips.
Don Tatum
Congratulation to the owners of LeManja, living your dream and enjoying your life . My wife and I appreciate your experience and wisdom you shared... Cheers
Genuine thank you to the owner for his open & honest experiences. So many other owners hide.
So glad to see this interview. In my opinion this is the PERFECT layout for a boat. I have an 8 year plan to be able to have a Bering
Good luck with the plan! Eight years is not that long when you work towards your dream!
This guy is obviously a successful person at whatever he plied. One thing I love though is that he is so laid back and not at all "into" himself. Kudo's sir, well played.
He is the perfect customer/owner for an explorer yacht … he enjoys and knows the boat, sails it by himself and seems to be quite humble who doesn’t use the yacht as a status symbol.
Very interesting video! Its rare to hear the owners about the daily use of a yacht! More of that if possible!👌
Thank you for the comment, we are working on it.
Bering!❤
Thank you!
It nice to hear from actually owner/operators!
It is great to hear actual testimony of the experience of traveling with a Bering and hear the owner operator of this 76. I would still love the 77 to travel the world on. Bering built with Pride, Quality, and Vision. Keep up the great work!
Thank you for a nice comment. Knowing exactly what you want is the best!
A very pleasant, self-made man, who appears very down to earth and not up his own backside. Which speaks volumes of his character and upbringing.
I've watched the walk-through tour and love the ship. They designed and decorated it well. To see how well it went through the swell and hearing about their travels just reinforces the reputation of Bering quality and comfort. Thank you for the interview and video clips.Especially a Thank You to the owners for talking about his boating experiences and plans.Happy Sailing with only mild following winds !
The fuel economy is very interesting. This is also how we run ships in the merchant navy. Only with 1 engine and letting the other propeller "coast" and spin to reduce restriction.
Thank you for sharing, we are trying to take the best anywhere we can find it.
That is a beautiful yacht! May you have fair winds and following seas. Live you dream forever.
i love the fact the lovely chap has so much courage to do this travelling on a boat this size and moor up with just himself and his wife, hats off thats amazing thank you for a great video
We love making owner-operated boats; these experiences are very expiring.
Thanks for this interview and to the owner for sharing! ❤
Bon Voyage! Excellent boat and thank you for your descriptions.
Very sympathetic guy. Sounded German in his accent. Really everything well done.
Thank you for the talk. Your boat is just beautiful and so capable. Have fun and good voyage to you and yours.
Nice interview. Looks like the owner has had a lot of fun so far
Having fun is what it is all about
What a great story, from the memory with his son all the way to the next chapter with his wife. What a dream, and such great plans for the future. Wow! Safe travels! And all on dream Bering yacht!
Very interesting interview. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for watching.
Great interview, so good to hear the back story too. From small boats to a Bering explorer. WOW . Makes my dream seem possible now too. Thanks for sharing. 😊
Thank you for commenting. This story is inspiring.
Looks like a beautiful boat. Nice owner too. Of course having lots of money is a must !
Passion also plays a big role in owning the boat
What's funny is when Victoria and Rico look at their yacht and describe how massive it is and how the 76 is so much bigger, yet it is only a foot bigger. But these are big boats. Pocket yacht, but a lot of volume.
That is one beautiful boat! Love the interior.
Fantastic vid, this guy is living my dream.
Im working on it until its no longer a dream, this quality of life is inspiring....
This was a very interesting interview, even with the interviewer being a bit too shy. I would like to have more information about the owner. He seems to be a very nice humble gentleman.
This guys THE MAN!
Great interview. Love yiur ship, fine design and awesome layout.
a man who lives his dream. could by my dream, i have to say. really interesting and informative.
Beautiful story, amazing dream.
Thank you!
Thank you for sharing 🙏
Would be nice to hear how this guy made his money to own and run such a fantastic ship. They aint cheap , nor is running one 24/7.
That was cool... Thank you!!!!
Great interview
hope to follow up with their adventures,
keep more like this coming please.
What a beautiful interview, i belief in Bering Yachts
The video is very cool, but as a Brazilian I would like to inform you that the Goddess of Waters is called Iemanja and not Lemanja.
There was certainly an error of interpretation between the letter L and I (i)
In capital letters the "i" would be "I" and therefore confused with "L"
I hope I have helped you understand this issue, but in any case the yacht already has its baptismal name and in big, beautiful letters LEMANJA, but it should be iemanja.
Congratulations to Bering yachts for the incredible vessels
It's just amazing!
You seem like a great couple, you bought the right boat I wish good luck and gods speed peace from Ct usa
It looks a luxury home….. everything just iuxury. The size 😮 full size living 🎉🎉🎉 room and bed rooms ❤❤❤
This is such a beautiful yacht. #NautyStyle.
Interesting and Informative😊
Thank you so much for sharing your experience, it’s truly inspiring and one of my life’s dream is to be and do exactly everything as you’re doing
Thank you for the commentary. We at Bering value peoples' choice to live their dreams!
GREAT video!
I'm not going sailing anytime soon lol, but
this was informative and very interesting,
such a great boat/yacht.
He took two footitis to another level, lol.
Well that just cemented my choice of vessels and lifestyles !❤
Congratulations on the right choice!
Really nice interview, living the dream. Good Job Bering.
Living the dream is very nice, indeed.
Wonderful interview, beautiful Bering!
Thank you for a nice comment!
I started boating with a 16ft runabout. Went to a 19ft deep v, then a 26ft, a 32, and finally a 40ft mainship. Any bigger is a pipe dream for me unless my wife loses her mind.
Michael. If you want to have midsummer night in Norway. It is the 23rd of June. Not the 28th :-)
Excellent video, thank you. I do hope you do more in a similar vein.
Thank you very much. Please stay tuned, more will come.
Safe travels! You might want to rethink the ICW with your draft. Beating against the gulf stream wont be great but it beats getting stuck
Thank you! Will be watching the tide and hope the Ditch does not have extra surprises
"The maintenance and work on board has to be a pleasure"
Very interesting to see that the boat is operable by an owner, although I'm sure he knows a lot about being a captain.
Yes, operating B76 on your own does require a lot of experience, even with all the assisting tools and gadgets.
LIVING THE DREAM, lets hope they never have to wake up, and keep going .
Hopefully you’ll get to see a space launch while in Florida. We live very close to Cape Canaveral and watch them from our front yard, but I’m guessing the view from your boat would be much better and certainly more unique. Safe Travels.
Great boat and really interesting life story. I did not understand the explanation about the name . The godess of the sea is Iemanjá end not Lemanjá.
Поехали!
That will be my dream soon, once I beat my cancer, cannot wait !!!!!!!
We wish you a quick recovery 💙
Will own one ❤😊
Which license does Michael have to be able to run the boat? Insurance would probably require certain qualifications I guess.
Master of yacht offshore I believe it’s an international license special for smaller private owned yachts but also for commercial yachts up to like 30 meters
Who originally sang the song at the last of this video ???
I Like Your Kinda Love by Warren Smith
Does this ship have stabilizers?
Dah
if you need free crew please let me know. I am certified captain/engeneer but do not mind being a deck hand, I just want to experience Bering in real life
Intercoastal waterway is too small in some parts for a large vessel.
If I buy a boat it would be the Bering 80 holds more fuel
I'm sooo very glad that foreigners have the decency to speak English.
Im sorry to say, but the Brazilian name was supposed to be Iemanjá with "i" not "L".
I'm Brazilian and this boat was incredible. Great boat Bering, nice job and God Bless the owner. But this "Lemanjá" does not exist, the name of the pagan entity is Iemanjá with an "i" and not with an "L".
These incidents about the total lack of knowledge about my beloved Brazil make me laugh a lot.
Who is keeping the nichtwatch, when he is sailing with his wife.I think nobody.
Iemanjá - the God he mentioned - in Portuguese, is written with an "I", not an "L". It can also be written, in other languages with an "Y". 😮 But don't tell them. 😂
Whith an I please, or its misspelled
Love Bering, stuffy vid
They are talking about 2.5 metre seas. Is that rough 🤷🏼♂️ I think my 20 foot Rib would be OK. Might get wet of course but doesn’t seem a big sea for a 76 foot steel explorer Yacht
Yes nearly 8 foot seas are very substantial
Sorry but 8ft seas are not substantial in my humble opinion 🤷♂️
Sailing the Norh Atlantic is definitely NOT on my bucket list.
Sorry to inform that the name for brazilian sea goddess is Iemanjá, not Lemanja.
Sorry to inform you, the name of the vessel is Lemanjá. Look at the title.
@@CensoredByCZcams965And it is wrong. That's the question! 😅
Iemanjá is a deity of the Afro-Brazilian religion known as Candomblé, which is also revered in other Afro-descendant religions, such as Umbanda and Batuque. She is one of the most important and venerated orishas within the pantheon of these religions. Iemanjá is often associated with the sea, fertility and motherhood, and is considered the mother of many orixás. She is seen as a protective and benevolent figure, who cares for people and brings blessings, especially to children.
@@mlencastre
How is it wrong? It's exactly what the OP said it should be. If anything, he's wrong because he didn't capitalize it as a name.
@@CensoredByCZcams965 it is misspelled. Iemanjá is written with an I (or a Y), not an L. Capiche??
My frined, if you really wanted to name you bote after an afro-brazilian religion godness, the correct name would be “Iemanjá” (with a capital “i”) not “Lemanjá”. But in the end, Lemanjá turned out to be a very exquisit name for a nice bote.
Whether with an "i" or an "l", never, ever call my ship a bote.
Sometimes dreams needs reality check. ( so he build a bigger boat ).
-Michael
My bank account is my only reality check.
-me 😅
Never heard of climate change? Not a problem, I'm sure there are solar panels on the roof. This kind of "fun" is criminal.
Do you this climate change whining also every time you see a couple with more than one child?
@@Real_Homo_Sapiens no, you are right! We should reduce the number of people on the planet to give the opportunity to few others to own such a boat.
BWAHAHAHA! Get over yourself!!! 🤣😅😂
The super rich are making up the climate change hoax. Just imagine what it's like to be this wealthy, a cut well above the common man. The problem: everywhere you go, there we are. The common rabble, in their way. Our children running about disturbing their enjoyment of the world. The solution? Make up an excuse to box us in and take away our freedom. We're destroying the planet. Of course, John Kerry needs his private jet... They all need these extravagancies in order to meet and discuss how to rule over us, don't they? We're being played for fools but they have enough children fooled that they will probably get away with it.
recreational yachting isn't destroying the planet or creating climate change. There are 15 cargo ships, where 1 of them use as much fuel as 50 million automobiles. get some perspective.
Violations of the Montreux Convention can escalate tensions between the violating state and Turkey, as well as other Black Sea littoral states, potentially leading to diplomatic disputes and undermining regional stability. Not going to support shipbuilding in this country anymore. And I will spread it through CZcams Its A shame I love your yachts.
What tf are you on about ?
You need help.
Wow... what a great interview. Just very sad Americans are not allowed to work with Bering yachts, we are pawned off onto youtube entertainers that are in the process of building their first boat. I have to move out of my country to be able to have a boat built by Bering to get access to people who have built more than one boat. I guess my only option is a used Bering.
Interesting, why arent americans allowed to?
Can you elaborate on this please?
I'd like more information on this as well as this is the first I've heard of it and that is my goal to reach my number build a yacht with bering amd sail the world.
THE CORRECT NAME IS ``IEMANJA`. NOT LEMANJA CALL THE SEA GODESS BY HIS CORRECT NAME OR SHE MAY GET VERY ANGRY AND TAKE HER PROTECTION AWAY TAKE CARE AND A HUG AND A LOT OF LUCK FROM BRASIL
