University of Michigan students stage protests amid graduation weekend

- Students at the University of Michigan staged multiple protests throughout campus this weekend. For nearly two weeks, students have been camping out at the University's Diag calling on the university to divest. Students say a portion of the university's endowment goes to companies that are profiting from the war between Israel and Hamas in Gaza. However, the university has repeatedly denied any direct investment into the war.
Kudos to the lady who understands the life of innocent people worth more than an interruption in a graduation ceremony.
I feel sorry for those who don't realize this.

I think the school made a deal with protesters to have a little time to say what they wanted and leave the place so that people could have the graduation ceremony.
The school handled it well since they prevented protesters intrude the school.
Michigan is a very diverse state with a long history of protesting. You can't go more than a few days without seeing a sit in at the capitol or a campus. It was always going to happen, so it's smart for the school to account for it.
