  • @EnglishTurbines

    Mr Croc, my fave....like the little fly out testing....You need a micro LC filter in your DC supply to the VTX...So cheap, it's a crime not to....The noise on the feed spoilt it TBH.

    • @KremerFPV
      @KremerFPV  Před 4 lety +2

      I agree that an LC filter is needed and forgot to mention it in the video. I am using the same setup when testing VTXs so I would rather not use an LC filter in order to make the video comparable with other VTXs that I test.

    Hey Gal, looks like a good VTX, and nice to see that they don't overate their claimed power levels.
    However, it is a shame that they didn't give an option for even higher power levels, the hardware, cooling capacity and size looks like it would be good for say 1.5w or maybe even higher with really good cooling. I would buy it.

      The maximum measured power using a 4s battery and 1W output power was about 7W so the current draw was about 0.45Ah, which is not much higher than other similar VTXs that don't include an integrated fan.

      Just Hack It oh ok. might be time to upgrade ur VTX and RX if u want more range. This VTX looks good, maybe it paired with a pagoda antenna and a good quality RX. I use the Achilles diversity module with Fatsharks. One antenna is a pagoda, the other antenna Is a 7 turn helical.

      Rolo Saenz Sure,
      VTX - Aomway 5.8g 500mw or 1000mw. Either is good. This VTX in this vid would do the same job. I use a pagoda antenna on the VTX from Banggood.
      RX - Achilles diversity module with Fatshark HD3. One antenna is another pagoda and the long range antenna is the 7 turn helical from circular wireless. It’s an old antenna now but if u grab a good directional antenna from ready made RC you’ll be fine.
      Spend the extra $$ for better quality stuff, stay away from cheaper gear.
