  • NORWAY - The Road to Freedom
Symbol of virgin nature, breathtaking waterfalls, lakes, and mystical history of the ancient Vikings. That’s the beautiful, wild, and surprisingly still one of the few free countries so far named NORWAY!
Norway is well known around the world for its marvellous, and must-see nature, almost untouched by humans. Why visiting the most beautiful places in this fjord landscape? Upon arrival in Norway, it is even more obvious at first sight if you are a photography and filming lover just like me. In the mountainous relief, there are hundreds of meters of high and wild waterfalls, winding meanders of rivers and thousands of glittering lakes. Water loves this landscape boundlessly, and there is enough for everyone. What if you see the beautiful deep fjord valleys or your first aurora?
    Waterfalls
Waterfalls belong to Norway inherently. You find one with your eyes almost any moment, and it’s mostly worth it. The most interesting waterfalls we have visited are:
Stigfossen waterfall which dominates Norway’s most famous road - Trollstigen. We spent a night at this waterfall and experienced a night full of Aurora Borealis, also called Northern Lights.
Manafossen waterfall is a beautiful waterfall Rogaland county falling freely from the height of 92m. Norway’s ninth-highest waterfall is simultaneously a protected natural monument.
Litlverivassforsen waterfall in Storskogdalen valley in Rago National Park. Visiting this waterfall was unforgettable, and we were lucky because this beautiful piece of nature belonged only to us for a while.
    Norwegian reindeer
Before leaving the Czech Republic, I wished to film elk or reindeer in an iconic way. The dream came true very quickly. A few days after arriving in Norway when we woke up with a summer mood into a Norwegian morning with snow-covered mountains, a reindeer family came for a few shots in the nick of time. I value these shots the most, and I wouldn’t be ashamed to offer them to David Attenborough.
The most famous places in Norway
There is no shortage of seasonal tourism in Norway, so it is important to plan the date and time as expected. We headed to Norway in September, and were rewarded with quiet tourist places, some areas were even without people. That was a real experience! Basically, if you set out for the “golden photographic watches” tourists mostly still lie in bed or they are already on a bus. That’s why we planned our journeys in detail, and enjoyed places like Preikestolen, Trolltunga, Rago at Litlveryvassforsen almost without people or totally alone, even for several hours. However, we weren’t always lucky, and due to bad weather, a trip to Kjeraq fell through but we weren’t disappointed, we take it as one of many reasons to come back to Norway.
    Lofoten
Lofoten is an archipelago constituted by around eighty islands. Of these islands, Senja island is the most interesting place located in the Troms county in northern Norway. The largest icons of the island can be found here - the Segla formation or a place called Tungeneset with a view of the “Devil’s Teeth” beyond the Arctic Circle, also known as Okshornan. Another top place for Lotofen tourists that captivated us with a wonderful sunset is Husfjellet. Those who like walking have a field day.
And what shouldn’t real tourists miss during their Lofoten visit? Of course, the shots of typical fishing village Hamnoy where we had to take pictures from all angles, just like enthusiastic photographers. In the Reine village, we headed towards stairs to the Reinebringen vantage point and beyond where a reward above the landscape awaited us, in the form of rainy weather with a beautiful rainbow. Again, we were in the right place at the right time.
    Fjords
This geological formation was created by the flooding of glacial valleys that stretch up to hundreds of kilometres into the Norwegian inland. Geirangerfjord is the most famous and most visited glacier fjord in western Norway. When you imagine a huge rock formation, a place just like Segla is created. We can say without exaggeration that it is the most iconic and top place in the whole of Norway. Amazingly interesting rock on the Senja island resembling a tooth. Even for us, this place was one of the main destinations of this trip because of which we were willing to drive 5 thousand kilometres.
Our 30-day trip to beauties of Norway wasn’t always easy. Countless hours spent in the car while covering distances, sleeping in a tin box on wheels, stepping out of the comfort zone in a way that most people would reject in less than a week. For one month, all seasons changed, and we never knew what the following morning would plan for us.
All these pieces of construction set caused the experience from this vacation has stuck in our mind even more, and I could bring you tidings about this Norwegian beauty in the best possible light.
    Thank you

Skvělé záběry, můžu se zeptat? Potřeboval jste speciální povolení pro natáčení v Norsku? Díky

Dobrý den, moc děkuju.. povolení jsem nepotřeboval. Lítal jsem hlavně mimo lidí. To je něco co hlavně dodržuju, bezpečnost vůči lidem a majetku
