Clay Cross Junction ( MML Chesterfield ) on 13th July 1992
Continuing with my archive of video recording between the years of 1986 to 2001 this clip is of Clay Cross Junction on the Midland Mainline south of Chesterfield where the lines join from Derby and Alfreton taken on 13/07/1992. This very hectic location practically covers all traffic from London to Sheffield plus many MGR workings and other traffic. Which makes it an excellent location for Loco sightings of several classes. It must have been so good just 10 years prior to this video but I hope the video takes you back to this period with fond memories. Feel free to comment, good or bad, all comments are read and greatly appreciated, but it is not always possible to answer each individually. Sit back and enjoy this latest production remembering all those now long gone Locomotive classes and other types of traction. Many thanks for all subscriptions and all of those viewers who have kindly shown an interest in my material.
