Mohanam is the same as Raag Bhoopali. It is the Major Pentatonic scale and is very popular in Chinese and Irish folk music. It is suitable for the Shanti aspects of Lord Shiva. I can imagine the Adi Yogi himself drinking Ganja-amrita out of his Skull-cup (kapali) while listening to his devotee sing this beautiful song.
