Right look at shadow systems if you wanna practice failures with a hot rod glock. Black out rear sights take training at night as well. Try it . Polish and clearances are key .
The ammo the shadow fails on . The cz eats up.. Do not buy a hot rod glock.

I understand the customization of a glock, but the ammount of money and time people put on it, its not a glock anymore, just a frame with aftermarket components, you can get a better gun than buying glock and investing probably the same amount of money in it.

You can also just keep you Glock stock like most people do realistically. Media is deceiving. Also, people customize Sig's, M&P's, you name it. If it's polymer there's someone doing something to it.
Stock Glocks are perfect, spend extra money on training & ammo.

@@MasterBetty69 Stock Glock ejection and extraction is far less than perfect.

@@rifleshooterchannel208 well yeah I meant perfect as an expression, but to suggest you need after market support for Glocks to run reliably out of the box is nonsense.
You don't need to change anything on Glocks, people only do it cause they spend too much time on CZcams, or have to change small things (mag releases) due to hand sizes etc. Sure people complain about the sights but breaking them is rare. People just pretend them break more than they do. Every single police trade in still has the factory plastic sights, & the slides & frames took more damage that the sights did.
Stock Glocks run fine & are the most reliable pistols you can get out of the box. You should spend money on training & ammo before you modify a pistol anyways. Glocks are boring & dull but they just work, & you can run them for years. I was gifted a gen 3 19 that saw 37,000 rounds (I've only put 500 through it cause I am poor & can only afford to shoot my carry gun which yeah is another Glock 19 lol) but was kept bone stock including their crappy sights. I did upgrade the recoil spring but haven't shot it since then.
People get lost in all the bells & whistles, especially people new to shooting. Glock is a perfect beginner platform & a perfect veteran platform. I'm all for people customizing their pistols, but that should come after proper training.
Also, Glock long fixed their ejection issues before the Gen 4's were discontinued, unless I'm out of the loop?

@@MasterBetty69 Oh no, the ejection issues are as bad as ever.
My NIB Gen 3 17 purchased last year had some of the weakest and most erratic ejection I’ve ever seen.
The majority of the shells dribbled out of the ejection port but plenty of them would also kind of “roll” backwards along the slide and even stranger would eject to the left.
Adding an aftermarket machined steel extractor helped a lot and replacing the 336 ejector with a 30274 ejector made it just about perfect.
I will say without a doubt to factor in the cost of a new aftermarket extractor with every Glock purchase (at least in 9x19, I do not and have not shot other calibers) to get a pistol that works as it should.
And my issues were not ammo related unless Glock isn’t meant to work with M882 and M1152.

Chris: "I don't want a red dot because I hate batteries." Also Chris: "Pay me $599 to take a low light course with weapon mounted lights... that use a lot of batteries." Hmm...
