This is the moment where everything in this game CLICKED for me. The suddenness of Sean's death, the brutal gunfight that followed. Jack being kidnapped by the Braithwaites and then the BEST moment in the early game, the assault on Braithwaite manor. In my opinion this whole sequence is where the game REALLY picked up for me. For the whole first 3 chapters of this game your gang in on the down and out, plying for scraps. Everything that can go wrong HAS gone wrong. Things were finally looking up with how dumb the grays and braithwaites were. Then Sean is killed and jack is kidnapped. Members of your gang. Your FAMILY, gone. And Dutch is like FUCK. THIS. And for the first time in the game you TRULY feel like a gang of outlaws. That assault on braithwaite manor is just perfect. They took a member of your family, so you took them ALL.
Sean in "first shall be last" It takes a whole army of bounty hunters to bring in sean maguire "A short walk in quiet town" The gray soldier did the 1 thing the bounty hunters couldn't do.
I swear every time someone died I would pause the game and just try to process what happened. I was also in denial. When I saw Sean get shot I still thought that he might be alive because I absolutely loved him. Same with Kieran, Hosea, and Lenny.
Ok guys, I understand that probably even this was Micha's fault but you have to admit it's so cool when he goes like kingsman mode and he kills something like three bad guys in a second. That's very cool. 4:20
Each death was shocking in its own way. Sean's was shocking because it came out of nowhere right as he was in the middle of a sentence. One second he was talking and the next he was dead. Kieran's wasn't shocking in that it happened. It was shocking because of how gruesome it was. Hosea's wasn't as shocking in the moment, but it was surprising because of how important he was in the gang and how early in the game it still was (chapter 4). Lenny's was shocking because it was out of nowhere and it didn't even get a cutscene, so a lot of players didn't even know he was dead at first and didn't realize that it was supposed to happen (they thought it was a mission failure). Molly's was shocking because we hadn't seen her in a while and then she came back and that all happened, plus it was shocking in that her death was caused by a gellow gang member. Grimshaw's death was shocking because she wasn't a fighting member of the gang and she was killed by a fellow gang member out of nowhere. Arthur's death wasn't shocking in that it happened, but it was surprising that they had him die from an illness rather than being killed in action. Micah's death was shocking in that Dutch appeared out of nowhere, shot him, and allowed John to finish him off.
You notice the second Sean gets killed , everyone is shooting at the enemy . Although when you see Micah shooting , he's just shooting up in the air and not taking anyone out .
When I saw this when I played this game it completely caught me off guard, I spent a solid couple of minutes just sitting in the pause menu trying to comprehend what just happened
Cheapee Shmeepie Jenny, actually. Ironically Arthur even said that to Sean. He was filling him in on what happened and he said that Davey was dead by the time they reached Colter, and Jenny didn't even make it that far.
I love how rdr2 is still getting decent views in 2020,i thought i was the only one who’s still playing it to this day,I literally finished the story over 15 times and i’m still not bored.
I was spoiled to most of the story before I got to this point but seeing aruthur tortured, losing my beloved horse, and then watching Sean die in 30 minutes killed me, I knew heading into that mission someone was gonna die but I got mixed up and thought it was Kieren, as I head Sean talk I slowly realized Bill and Micah were the only others and furiosly gunned down all of rhodes, that used to be my second valentine but now that's where I go to test new guns
Despite forgetting a lot about this game, this scene is one that sticks in my memory well, I barely remember Sean, but I remember thinking wow, this video game is really sending a message killing off characters like him that quickly. This mission really set a tone for the game that this is more than just a little video game and anyone can die at anytime.
I can't stand people who rely so heavily on Dead Eye and use it on every enemy they see. They miss so many moments of the characters talking, and it just slows the gameplay so much. I get using it if you're about to die but when one dude is shooting at you?
Its one of the best machinics and worst in that regard its supposed to make you feel like a bad ass gun slinger but also slows the game down and interupts dialogue
I love this mission. Not because of Sean dying that made me sad but how it gave us the feeling of chaos and how we csrn sit there scared and mourning but that we have to fight back and show aggression and strength and u can notice it in the way Arthur yells at sheriff gray “U put the gun down sheriff!” In the tone he did and it’s honestly the only time I have heard Arthur sound that angry
At that point in the game we started to like him too, he was a great character. They knew what they were doing with killing him lol. If they wanted to kill someone noone would've minded about, they would have gotten Micah 😅

Me too, brother. It really hurts us to see one of our Irish brothers meeting their fate.
James always has to spoil the plot lmao he guesses almost everything being right
He’s just hilarious while he does it too 😂. Even did it in Ghost or Tsushima.

Nobody gonna talk about the triple headshot Micah got? Honestly really impressive

Not gonna lie, after that mission, I went back to Rhodes and started to shoot up the whole time. Civilians, Animals, Lawmen. I was that sadden and pissed off over Sean's death, that I just wanted all of Rhodes, no matter the age, to just drop dead 🤬
Go to Caliga Hall feller. There's plenty of Greys to murder down there
no. you should have went to caliga hall. dont touch the animals.

5ITREAL85's reaction: "NOT THE LEPRECHAUN!"
😂😂
😂
Sadness aside, Micah's sharpshooting skills are impressive in the cut scene
And he’s also doing that with the least accurate 6 shooter in the game
Makes it all the more impressive
I find it sad how the kindest of the gang were the ones that suffered most, Hosea, Sean, Charles. If things were a little different they'd still be around, and most certainly would have stood with Arthur, John and Susan

Perfect, flawless response right there at 4:55

Thank you for putting the title that way, instead of outright spoiling it for people. Mad respect!
Notice how everyone who died throughout the story is everyone who would have stood alongside Arthur and John. Lenny, Sean, Maybe Kieran, Hosea…
YES, I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR SOMEONE TO DO THIS FOR AGES!! THANK YOU!
Sean in "first shall be last"
It takes a whole army of bounty hunters to bring in sean maguire
"A short walk in quiet town"
The gray soldier did the 1 thing the bounty hunters couldn't do.
Well it was unexpected, and 3 men slauthered them in return
You messed up the names so badly
Can we appreciate how the titles and start of the video doesn’t spoil the game for people who are playing or planning on playing?
I swear every time someone died I would pause the game and just try to process what happened. I was also in denial. When I saw Sean get shot I still thought that he might be alive because I absolutely loved him. Same with Kieran, Hosea, and Lenny.
how the fuck do you think Kieran is alive???
He rolls into camp holding his decapitated head in his own hands???
No, Sean... it’s gonna be alright, I have a can of beans.
Ok guys, I understand that probably even this was Micha's fault but you have to admit it's so cool when he goes like kingsman mode and he kills something like three bad guys in a second. That's very cool. 4:20
1:21 seriously that was my reaction when playing rdr2
2:58 OH MY GOODNESS
Sean is my favourite and playing this mission killed my spirits
4:33 When you're in such a frenzy and maddened that you want to kill everyone there, even Bill 😅
You notice the second Sean gets killed , everyone is shooting at the enemy . Although when you see Micah shooting , he's just shooting up in the air and not taking anyone out .
I was shook when this happened.
When I saw this when I played this game it completely caught me off guard, I spent a solid couple of minutes just sitting in the pause menu trying to comprehend what just happened

I was as shocked as they were when Sean got shot. He was such a good character.
Sean was my favorite character, sadly he’s the first to go
Nah, Davey is 😎
Cheapee Shmeepie Jenny, actually. Ironically Arthur even said that to Sean. He was filling him in on what happened and he said that Davey was dead by the time they reached Colter, and Jenny didn't even make it that far.

3:27 You can't lie Micah shooting that guy so fast was BADASS!

It broke my heart I didn’t miss one headshot during the shootout from how angry I got
this game gave me an uneasy feeling whenever we go into town wondering if someone is gonna get killed or not
I can't stand people who rely so heavily on Dead Eye and use it on every enemy they see. They miss so many moments of the characters talking, and it just slows the gameplay so much. I get using it if you're about to die but when one dude is shooting at you?
I hardly use it, only times are when the game makes me or I'm hunting
Its one of the best machinics and worst in that regard its supposed to make you feel like a bad ass gun slinger but also slows the game down and interupts dialogue
The game has auto aim already on it's own, no idea why they use it that much.
I use it only for hunting, on horse while being chased or when shooting the nuts of others multiple times
I think most people used it here because they were still in shock. Too focused on Sean to shoot correctly
