I lost my mom a bit before endwalker released. The entire theme of the expansion weighed heavy on my heart. When I heard this song right after you know what I started to cry and couldn’t stop. It reminded me of my mom. I thought about everything and my journey in life and what she had done for me and it paralleled hydaelyn. This game absolutely holds a spot in my heart.
While I didn't have that same experience, I was definitely going through a rough patch when this expansion dropped. There's something really special and beautiful about Endwalker that I really struggle to put into words, and I think it was exactly the kind of story I needed at that moment in my life. I never thought that an MMORPG could have a story this incredible. It's not even "good for an MMO", it's just straight up one of the greatest stories I've ever experienced.
I feel you man, I lost my dad before shadowbringers and this game helped me a lot, "remember that we once lived" hit me like a truck...

I'm about to lose my mom right now and I can't stop bawling at this.
It was same for me with my grandfather. He passed a week before early access. This expansion has hit me in a way that no FF has since X and help me with my grief.
I can't believe I actually instantly started tearing up when the singing started. Endwalker really did a number on me, and this cover really gave me the feels.

the music of ffxiv just intensifies the emotional masterpiece of the story. It's so rare these days to feel anything for the games that are made. I am so thankful to have gone on this journey. Final Fantasy XIV is my favorite game of all time. This game is the reason I love gaming it's a medium unlike any other.

My old voice teacher would say: GREAT vowels. There are some REALLY hard phrases in this song but they all sound effortless. This is a huge achievement.

I adore this piece. This is not my style of music, cause usually "melodic" music does not have this level of emotion in the melodies (some of the halfstep down passing notes remind me of Marty Friedman's lead playing) and the chord progressions are just gorgeous here.

This is a phenomenal rendition, a song filled with so much hope
When my mom died in 2016 I got into ff14 and it really saved me. I was able to stop myself from falling into a hole I could not get out of. I just lost my dad mar 2022 and this song helped sooth me at my darkest moment. I love this version. Thank you for singing it.

I didn't know this wasn't the original. When I kept looking for the version I had for spotify on CZcams, it was always a different singer. I vastly prefer your version so much more than the original. It hits really hard on a rough day.
