Fred, you did a fabulous job!!! I can see that you love the aircraft in the museum, thus making the museum the success that it is. I do wish you would have pointed out the bump on the right wing and how it stabilized the landing on the deck of the aircraft carrier. That is a great example of ingenuity. Thank you and Gregg for your dedication.

Thanks for the great mini tour of one of my favorite WWII aircraft. Even learned something new about the Japanese Zero. Great stuff. Looking forward to more, and can't wait to come visit when life gets back to normal.

Dude seriously ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? Have you NEVER noticed that in WWII any plane NOT catching a wire DID NOT get to power up and go around!!! They had planes parked at the far end of the carrier so if the poor pilot missed all the wires, he'd get all tangled up in the safety netting that was strung up between the landing planes and the parked planes!!!! Yeah i know, how dumb could they be??? They SHOULD have had the offset runway FROM THE VERY BEGINNING so if a guy did bounce over all the trap wires he COULD power up and go around!!!! But if you look closely, all the WWII carriers were ONE SINGLE STRAIGHT RUNWAY END TO END....... NO way for a "bolter " to go full power and try to go around!!!! You either caught a wire or you hit the safety net and flipped over OR you went through all that and ended up hitting the parked planes at the far end!!!!
Seriously Google air operations BOLTER!!! It even has a cute little animatic to demonstrate what happens!!!
