If only there was some way for the driver to know there was a train coming. Like something with big flashing lights, clanging bells, and red and white striped gates to keep people off the train tracks. Oh, wait….
If there was CCTV footage to figure out who left the car in the crossing and/or if the car was reported stolen, it could help solve the crash, but I doubt it was an accident.
The headline reads as if the train derailed and crashed, when in reality it's just another idiot who left their car on the tracks. Maybe make the headlines less click-bait and a little more factual.
I was super upset that my cousins told me that they walk the tri rail tracks “frequently” (there was a tri rail crash a few days ago), it seems like common sense down south has left everyone’s brains about rail safety (I live in Florida too)
The video capture would've been better if there wasn't a guy in the vehicle trying to mimic a train horn when there's already an actual train horn sound in the background.
This is def insurance fraud. There is going to be a big amount of these cases if these companies don't put up more aggressive signal crossings to prevent such things
If I was in a position of power in Florida, I would sign legislation to place traffic cameras at every railroad crossing, and if you cross when the barriers are down, driver's license revoked, no exceptions. This is ridiculous
We were on the train yesterday and it hit a car with two people in it, however we don’t see any reporting on it. It was at Oakland Park coming back from Miami to West Palm.
Yo that’s right next to the Audi dealership lol I use to worry about those train tracks ppl would drive right onto them with a car right in front of them so they’re basically sitting ducks crazy
This Brightline passenger train system is laughable!!! I predicted that this would be a disaster years before it's operation!!! ......................... and I was right!!
lmao disaster? So far they’re pretty successful. It’s really not their fault people don’t understand how trains work. This doesn’t happen in the rest of the country at the rate it does in Florida.
Don't listen to this fool, he's probably sucking Brian mast's teet . Ignorance is bliss. Brightline is great. Highways are the real killers of this world , but big oil doesn't care .
@@RADZADproductions With close to 70 accidents with Brightline in five year makes it the deadliest U.S. rail system. More than Amtrak and Tri-rail, so yes it's laughable and it's a disaster!!
They need to stop saying the train hit the car, the car stopped illegally on the tracks and caused damage to the train.
Exactly.
PEOPLE DON'T STOP ON THE FREAKING TRACKS!
Try your 🤞 luck

Looks like someone was trying to claim insurance money by parking their car on the track
The ghetto lotto it is called
Trains have been around for over a hundred years and people still cant avoid getting hit by one.
Accident or low cost terrorist attack.

Don't blame brightline for these accidents. It's not there fault these people don't know how to drive.

Or simply do some grade separation projects
@@JoeyLovesTrains or just hire railfans to patrol the crossings
Just equip engines with modified cowcatcher.

Its only two groups who are trespassing so your bill would never pass . Good idea though . You cant force stupid people to obey the rules

No footage of the car being left on the tracks. Of course.
I would heavily patrol any railroad crossings to make sure this doesn't happen
Well, someone is back on the waiting list for their car
People with so little common sense should lose their drivers license immediately
guess he couldn't pay lease no more..
Not the charger trains ☠️
I swear to God if this makes people steer away from developing trains in Florida
I WAS ON THIS TRAIN!!!!
how long were you delayed for?
Was it a bumpy ride?
prolly a petty ex gf found out the bf was cheating, took his car and left it there.
Cant wait for the Orlando leg🙄
That portion is completely grade separated. There isn’t anywhere to park a car on the track.
At this point it almost seems like Floridians are trying to make brightline look bad
@@RADZADproductions well there attempts are failing since tons of videos show it's obviously there fault for trying to beat the train
Car VS locomotive 🚂 car 🚗 always loses!

Well Doc. Its destroyed just like you wanted (lol).
More empty airheads in Florida
Is this a cry for help, or a poly for insurance money?
Nah just floridians being floridians

Yeah, it's laughable for dumb boomers. By that logic, if we have car crashes, then driving is laughable.
