I really hope in the future we get to see a more interactable batcave one where you can go hangout, upgrade your gadgets, review over evidence, customize your costume, talk to the Bat-family, pet Bat-hound, and just look at all the mementoes you have from previous missions.
I suppose they had the mementos from previous missions in the Evidence Room in Arkham Knight
I want that too
Well tell it to your father not to us
I want to be able to milk bat-cow
@Alex The Awesome Having any type of hub world means the hub world will be repetitive though
I really think that Lego Batman 1's Batcave should have been on this list instead of MK vs DC. It was such a great cave.
Garrett Bufford I agree so much
Didn't even think of that but it should now that I think about it
At first I actually thought that was #1 because the original lego Batman May be childish but is still a very iconic and was one of the greatest games I have ever played
@@rayh4an the video is about batcaves not games
FoxRNG I know it has a very iconic design that is similar to the comics
Lego Batman 1's Batcave is the one we all grew up with.
But...you were dead
I totally agree lego Batman 1 batcave is the best
Same. And the iconic Batman Theme song
I grew up with the Nintendo DS version 😳
John Marson Omg that was my childhood batcave
The biggest sin of the AK Batcave, is that in a game that was centered around Jason Todd, there was no Jason Todd Suit Memorial.
Definitely, even in Arkham City. There were multiple lines of dialogue in Arkham Asylum and Arkham City about there being multiple Robins and "Didn't I kill you last time? Oh well"
Nah Alfred got me spooked he said “you better get to moving before I take penguins entire gang myself”
alfred has always been the best character
@Shadowzzz He said this during the Arkham Origins DLC "A Cold Cold Heart." Talk to him in the study before you put on the suit and he'll say that line.
I’m going to assume that you can only play as Alfred by modding him in on PC?😂
17:45 Damn that is one hell of a quick draw.
The massive batcave from DC universe online deserved a mention. I mean, it's so big they had to break it down to 3 different maps. And each version of Batman has their own unique cave. Such as the Batman who laughs and flashpoint Batman.
YES
The Adam West mission in LEGO Batman 3 isn’t a DLC
It’s a bonus level
We need another Arkham game with a batcave & pilotable bat wing
Well considering what they did with batmobile I don't really
@@bmo5852 If you cut out the tank mode and only include the puzzles and detective stuff for the Batmobile in Arkham Knight then the introduction of the Batmobile was perfect, seriously though the tank mode should've only been used at Ace Chemicals, the Cloudburst attack, and the final battle at GCPD.
I think the new one with the new ivy and new twoface with Damien Wayne as batman will have the batwing I think it got cancelled though 😪
Yeah XDDd
Well your in luck
Rip adam west😢
He was a truly great Batman. The best part of him in the 1960's show was it was never serious. You could just sit down at have a good time watching it.
LO Angel i thought he would live forever 😕
Kenneth Hathaway it also revived batman the character when sales were low that he was going to be killed off
Thomas Wayne™ if only. He wore the cape on missions, and nvr comes back in 1 of them
My only real regret of that show was there was never a Joker / King Tut team up. Just think of the amount of ham acting going on between Victor Buono and Cesar Romero. It would have been a epic display of a ham fight.
There only one DC character better than Batman
ALFRED
Cyber Tiger Hell yeah!
Boo
I personally think that honour should go to Superman. If it wasn't for him, there wouldn't be any Batman, or DC Universe in general!
I dare say red hood better than batman
Lol
I just want to know how the HELL he got that giant penny down there! I mean he couldn't do it alone. And even with Alfred and Robin helping someone would have noticed.
Kenneth Hathaway They probably either built it in the Batcave or they built it and then took most of it apart so it would go in as several smaller pieces.
No it is a trophy and it is in one piece. So the had to move it and put in in the cave whole.
CinemaSins has always pointed out how difficult it would be to make a batcave.
Kenneth Hathaway do you think Superman could have helped put it in there.
CinemaSins is trash though
Now that Lego DC supervillains is out you should know that it’s actually a really good batcave. It’s on a separate island under the mansion with 3 hidden entrances for the batmobile, batplane, and bat-boat.
@5:50 at the time origins take place the bat mobile hasn’t been built yet
That doesn't sound right, why would batman have a plane before a car. But what do I know.
@@NirateGoel he actually is building it and probably cause he can get to places around Gotham faster? He is starting off only 2 years in seeing a armored car with a thruster and bat wings riding around might raise some questions the bat wing is fast and more stealthy plus I'm sure having the bat wing fly out of the waterfall is probably much easier than building a lift or a road for the Batmobile to drive off on :/
In defense of the Batman Arkham Origins Batcave, the reason it looks the way it does is because Batman is just getting started. Also, there actually is a spot for the Batmobile. During the sequence when Bane attacks Alfred, you can actually see the Batmobile briefly show up on the Batcomputer. Plus, if you explore a bit more, you can see what looks to be some sort of car, and this is implied to be the Battmobile. I understand why you don't like it, but I personally think that it fits Batman still getting started in his career.
But..but...where is Lego Batman the video game batcave!!
i know i was five when that game was relatively new and the best thing to me was the batcave i didn't even play the real game half the time
yeah i love lego batman : the videogame batcave, and we can even play from the villain's perspective...
That batcave have EVERYTHING, the vehicles, the computer, the ''trophies'', everything
Lego batman 2 has too much nostalgia for me, its definitely my favorite
I don't know if I can call it my favourite but I feel you
That was my favorite batcave
Something about it for me is too... simple... about it. I can't place my finger on it. There's also the fact that we can't explore the upper levels of The Batcave as seen in the level inspired by Batman Forever
I’m shock’d that you didn’t include DC Universe Online’s Batcave. Not only do you visit it during the story mode but there are several PvP maps and raids that take place in there.
I know I’m late to the party but if you revisit this list, this would be in my top 3, and possibly at the very top.
That’s literally the Arkham city batcave not the Arkham Knight one, they remastered it in Arkham knight
Spectacular Spider-Wade glad someone said it
Wait, there's one in city.
William Nanney Yep a challenge map
That's probably one of the best bat caves ever
@@cyclopsegg4735 Which challenge?
I hope one day we get a batcave that is in the detailed style of the Arkham games with: A fully interactive Batwing, Batmobile, and Boat, the ability to change suits in-game, the ability to play as different members of the Bat-family, a full trophy display with information on each item, the penny and dinosaur, a simulation training area, and an interactive batcomputer with information on all of Batman's enemies.
(If I missed anything, let me know.)
I think LEGO Batman: The Videogame has come closest to this. It's just missing the Giant Penny & Dinosaur and Simulated Training Area
Holy crap , when joker popped up in the VR one. I got so scared
3:54 you know this show is legendary when you see it as your childhood and you only 13
Needlemouse narrator: the arham asylum batcave was the first batcave in a video game.
Lego batman 2008: bruh, we have one of the coolest batcave setups wdym
*Batman: Vengeance:* You dare forget about me?
For real though. Sad that LEGO Batman didn't make the list
How the hell did you miss the fact that the Batcave in Knight is the one in City?????
@Alex The Awsome The Batcave in Arkham City was part of the Nightwing DLC, it was a Challenge Map along with Wayne Manor. The Batcave in Arkham Knight, the one used in this video, was part of an AR Challenge Map DLC where they asked the community what Challenge Maps from past games do they want added into Knight.
The Batcave, Wayne Manor, Iceberg Lounge and Monarch Theater from City, as well as Crime Alley, Silent Knight (the Asylum's Medical Wing) from Asylum were added. They are exact re-creations of the maps from past games. That's how.
Honestly, considering how the world of Batman keeps the names of criminals public, I’d like to see Batman get swapped with someone from a different world, where the other guy slowly fights Batman’s villains until he finally gets back home, ready to use the skills he learned on his own foes. The only problem, though, is that Batman took down every major and minor villain in that dudes world in about a week and revealed their identities to everyone so that they can never escape in public
I personally like the LEGO Batman 1 the batcave the bests
Definitely one of my top favorites
After watching family guy for so long hearing Adam west was Batman is a shock
I also really love the batcave of the first lego batman game, its my personal number one!
But you missed the greatest quality, those damned bat-thighs 5:20
Minty Oh my god, his thighs are bigger than his abdomen.
Red Hood 🤣
12:40 Actually, that’s pretty much perfect scale for a T-Rex. Real T-Rex’s are actually WAY smaller than how they’re usually depicted in movies and TV shows
The Arkham knight batcave was also in Arkham city goty edition
I love "inner demons" it is probably the best song in Batman Arkham Knight and when you go into the cave in VR was amazing and fit the mood perfectly
Batmobile wasn't built in arkham origins
You can see it being built under a cover before Bane destroys the cave though by the training arena.
You can spot it but broken lol
Strange how the physics defying spaceship of a plane was made before a fast car...
@@CAPEDCRUSADER3900 I wanna point out that you can't actually use the Batmobile, it wasn't finished yet and it's clearly a prototype.
I’d give an honourable mention to the Batcave from Batman Vengeance
12:33 into the video and says "batman arlham knight" lmao
17:46 Jesus christ look at the speed of that turn and the accuracy of the shot... The Joker is a man who needs to be feared
This is a great video. I've been making a Lego Batcave for years. Keep taking it apart and redoing it but it keeps getting better and better.
16:34 who saw the penny
Literally everyone who can see
So much to learn from this about the BATCAVE !!!!
There is going to be a new arkham game. So excited!
7:23
*Cough, cough* injustice 2
*injustice batman want to know your location*
Batman: Vengeance, A game based on Batman: The Animated Series/The New Batman Adventures, Had a playable Batcave area but It was only for a tutorial. Taught the Player about combat as well as grappling and even freelfalling. Every other appearance from there on are In cutscenes.
What if someone decides to play a riff on that piano and opens up the bat cave😂
Not to sound like a pain, but in Lego batman 2, Lex and joker find the batcave thanks to a tracking device built into a piece of fake kryptonite that batman takes to the bat cave whilst thinking its the real stuff. If you haven't played the game, I humbly recommend it as it really set the bar for what to expect in Lego games.
The classic batman is not a dlc
he knew, he just said it like that, still an error, though, and is technically inconsistent.
The Water Fall Batcave and The Adam West One are my faves.
Waterfall Nu1.
Adam West Nu2.
They just have so much detail and they have Free Roam they are epic to me.
Lego Batman 2s cave is more like the seventies one that was located under Wayne Foundation tower.. The building now known as Kane Tower in the early Batwoman comics. It was in the middle of Gotham and the car exit was in an alley.
Lego Batman 2’s was under Wayne Manor though
I love how lego 2 batman has absolutely no faith in superman. He's so sure that he'll just turn evil that he has a giant stash of kryptonite under his computer lmao
At 5:45 , the reason there’s no batmobile platform is because it’s still being built. If you look lower in the cave, you can see it mid-construction
This was amazing nice work I loved this so much !
No mention of the Batcave from the original Lego Batman. That one was awesome, it had the entrance to Arkham and all 3 of the bat vehicles
This episode is by far the best
Top 3 Best Batcaves in VG:
1. Predator Challenge Batcave from Arkham City - it was comic accurate and featured multiple environment details because of its use as a Predator Map
2. The Hub-like Batcave from Arkham Origins - it gave you limited free roam around it, and let you interact with Alfred, select evidence and mission details, and CHANGE YOUR BATSUIT!!!!!!
3. The Batcave from Injustice 2: Perhaps the first time any VG Batcave included a good, character-defining plot device from comics unheard of in any cross-media platform before: the Brother Eye (and you could also interact with it)
Honorable mentions:
- The Bare-bones Batcave from Arkham Asylum: Our first taste at a Third Gen, fully rendered Batman inside a quasi-Batcave.
- The minimalistic Batcave from Batman Vengeance for PS2: It was pretty empty, but its streamlined look made quite a throwback to the old BTAS Batcave, in all its vertical and "no hand rails" glory.
I know it has been a few years, but Arkham Asylum wasn't a third gen game like at all, third gen consoles were like, the NES, Master System, and Atari 7800. You're thinking of seventh gen, which included the Xbox 360, PS3, and Wii.
19:10 joker looks creepy af
Tbh, My personal favorite Batcave would be the Lego Batman 3 Batcave, it was the first one I ever saw and played on.
actually the arkham knight batcave was originally a riddler challenge in arkham city
I also liked the original lego Batman bat-cave it’s nostalgic
You should make an updated version because of Lego Dc Super Villians
Lego Batman 3 is my favorite bat cave in video games! I just love it mostly for all the reasons you listed! I haven't played Arkham VR as I don't have a VR.
12:27 I would pay money to see that!
I love the reference to the Arkham Knight Batmobile tank in Batman 3's Cave.
I was laughing out loud
When he said: one hell of a sexy computer
Asylum really made me wonder if in the Arkham universe he has tons of bat caves across Gotham or maybe even America or the world
In injustice Batman’s got a whole base in a lead mine in Alaska
BATMAN MOVIE CEARLE FOR LIFE
My personal favorite would be "the lego batman movie"s batcave because it's reference city.
12:35 oh I do love me some Batman: Arlham Knight
Awesome and cool!
Alfred is badass
There's something so satisfying about Nightwing in the Batcave beating up Joker
Does batman make a way to defeat everyone he meets 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Yes, yes he does. He has a dossier on ways to take down the entire JL, including himself
That's 100% true
Ah yes I love M O T Y A L K O M B A T
Agree with the list for sure good choices 💯
I liked the Lego Batman 1 batcave. It also had a lot .
the nostalgia that Lego Batman 2 gives is insane, 7 yr old me ain’t gaf bout no bitches I grinded tf outta that shit
You forgot Pokemon's batcave. Home to 300 million zubats.
Great video. Btw the 60’s batman wasn’t a dlc in LEGO Batman 3 it was a secret level you can access in the bat cave after completing the story mode
Great video
The computer in the batcave always has to be sexy
I know this video is about 4-years old, but there is a reference in Arkham Origins with various parts near the training area to build the Batmobile (use detective vision on it).
In Origins, you can find the Arkham Asylum Batmobile being built, it’s under a white cloth. I don’t remember exactly where it is, but it is in there.
Arkham Vr is my favorite.
The 1966 level in LEGO Batman 3 isn’t really a dlc, it’s part of the game
In arkham origins the batmobile is still getting built you can find it but it has a sheet over it
Injustices Two's Batcave is partially destroyed and none explorable both things you said your self so how can this be better then Adam Wests Cave i mean it is very detailed but still respect dude keep up the epic work and Happy Holidays :)
Who would like to be Alfred just cause he is badass
Batman Vengeance had a really cool Batcave. Yes it was kind of empty and minimalist but it looked exactly like the batcave in the animated series.
Years!! ago I had a old ds with some sort of batman game on it and I could never even get out of the batcave in it it was toooooo difficult for me back then
The LEGO Batman 1 and 2 Batcaves are fantastic.
Ok im so gonna get the batman vr game when I get myself a vr headset
The original Lego Batman cave and the Arkham Origins cave were the best hands down no contest.
Alfred is indeed badass
5:55 The batmobile was still being built... if you explore the cave you can see it under a sheet with parts yet to be added on...
"You can actually see the recorded video that the Joker sends Batman of him killing Jason Todd"
*Guitar riffs in the background*
The batmobile wasn't built yet in arkham origins. You can find a set of car parts under a cover and when you save alfred you have to move wheels and rubble off of him
The VR story is actually a dream for those who don’t know, it’s canon but the CAMPAIGN only is dream
The first LEGO Batman Game from 2008 also has a awesome Batcave
Watching this 4 years later and boy the telltale line spoiled hard
It's really criminal for Rocksteady for not building upon AO Batcave.
Well, the Origins Batcave isn't exactly canon to the Rocksteady Main Arkhamverse
@@thenoirknight5729 Origins is totally canon to the Arkhamverse. It's just that they didn't include it in Return to Arkham remaster that means nothing. Besides it's just studio difference stuff, not a big deal. My original comment stands.
the only person who know the location of the batcave beside alfred: *the guys to build the batcave*
Although I wouldn’t classify it as one, in Arkham knight there’s a movie studio, but it SUCKS as a bat cave, but it’s importance is great, and I like how it seems rushed together, and not meant as a base.
