Mrs Elaine Plumber & Amanda (daughter) I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my Husband in 2013 & Mother in 2020 & am a little jealous that you have film footage to visit. Though I suspect that will not be easy & remain bittersweet. I will miss him, as will legions of fans, I hope you are slightly comforted by this fact. God bless.

Canada’s greatest actor died today Feb 5/21. I have seen many of his roles one of my favourite was in “The Royal Hunt of the Sun” Christopher Plumber played Inca King Altahaulpa in 1969. The Sound of Music is an annual ritual but if this is one of the few roles you’ve seen, find more!! He truly is/was a great international actor.

On ne peut toujours pas assumer qu’il ne soit plus de ce monde…! Il nous manque. Il prononçait toujours des mots en français pendant sa conversation, ce qui ajoutait du charme à sa personne.
Yes, it is too hard to accept he is gone. He was 91 but still young in so many ways. You are lucky to understand his French, he seemed to love the language.
