    Hi Evan! You are such a nice young man, and all the people you have in your videos seem like a great group of people. I enjoy your videos very much. They give a great perspective of what it's like moving to a remote area and getting used to the lifestyle. I am a Paralegal and Law Clerk and I have applied for a position within the Workplace Safety and Compensation Commission in Iqaluit. Your videos have helped me see what life may be like for me if I am lucky enough to get the job! I wonder if you could give an idea of what the fishing is like there? I enjoy fishing here in Northern Ontario, but I am sure its a whole new experience in Iqaluit. Thanks for the amazing content ...please keep it coming!

    Any update on the travel situation to Nunavut clearing up anytime soon? I had tickets for last August (booked prior to covid) that Canadian North is allowing me to delay a rebooking until as late as December (thru open dates in 2022, perhaps thru summer, i just have to book by Dec '21). I really worry that with the sensitive situation not only cross-border (I'm an American) but to get to Nunavut in general, even mass vaccinations won't guarantee open travel by 2022 to Nunavut. What is your feeling on that? Do you see it opening up by then? I really hope I can get an extension on credit by Canadian North if the logistics still make travel very difficult then.

    • @Evantures
      @Evantures  Před 3 lety +2

      Hi there Philip ! I believe Canadian north will honour your credit (they’ve done it for me for my flight last April) Although I booked through Expedia (I would look into if your website offers COVID-19 related credits extension .
      Nunavut will continue the 2 week hotel quarantine hub before entry for the foreseeable future (there’s been talks by summer to reduce it) By 2022 I hope things will be less restricted, but it is a remote territory ...
      Latest Update: general public shots as of last week , just got mine 👍
      Hope you can visit soon man!
      Evan

    Wonderful video! One quick question, I have got a teaching job in Qikiqtani region(not sure which specific location in the island) starting in September. I am currently living in Toronto.I am not sure what to do with my car. It is recently bought and I couldn't return it back. How can I ship it to Iqaluit? Do you have any idea? The weather is scary though. Is it like this a lot of time of a year?

    • @Evantures
      @Evantures  Před 3 lety +1

      I would definitely find out what community!!
      If in Iqaluit... I would definitely recommend sending your (4x4 or truck) (on the freight ship) which comes every summer. with extra batteries for the winter (and other goods inside your car)
