Thanks a lot for watching and safe journeys!
The magic of the Sporades -shades of blue and green at their finest!
I like how you've been finishing these Greek island vids w/ local music and no talking towards the end, very enjoyable!
Cool.
There is something magical about those small churches in the middle of nowhere... They are a gateway to heaven.... You can feel it....
Greece is the best vacation destination in Europe !
Agree ! And Spain 🇪🇸
No, it isn't. It's the best all over the world :)
No part of the world beats Southern Europe.

Beautiful island. Been back in the States for 10 days after two weeks in the the Peloponnese. I don't know what I'm doing back here, it's beautiful and a little sorrowful to watch.
Been thinking this for two
years and i am in a jail called Australia
@@gbthrylos I think they call this first-world problem
my kid is in Elafonisos right now ...I hope you went
@Roy MST it will take you a long time to get over it.....Greece is a powerful feeling and a love that you never ever forget...hope you go back soon
@Roy MST that's a good plan......I'll go back also one day just like you.....good luck my friend
Due to various reasons we didn't go for a holiday this summer. But , thanks to you Gabriel, I visited so many islands and even felt the water. Another fabulous video. Thanks again !!!!
Those paintings from Byzantine Empire😍😍😍
I love the Greece series :)
I love videos like these, where you explore the "unexplored"
The paintings in the first church were spectacularly beautiful.
it is not church but we call it a chapel
Last time I've been there, buck in the 80's, there wasn't any roads, and of course, nor cars. You could go to the beaches, at that time, only by bus-boats. After so many years I feel so lucky to have lived such irreversible memories.
Thanks for taking us around the island Gabe....room was expensive i find
Looks like a nice island, nice video as usual Gabriel
Greek Island is one of the places I would love visit after Covid pandemic...
this one s one of the best , but Gabriel did not show the amazing scenery and beaches at the southside.
@@strikeriron8439, thank you for this information. Good to know.
@@maruleewalkanddrive Just try finding some good videos about this island, it has amazing landscapes and beaches, North side is wilders scenery, south side is more green water and so on. + it is quiet than others if you look for that.
I will show much more of Alonnisos in my next video. It is indeed a gorgeous island, and not too busy.
Nice photo at 2:49.🤗
Enjoyed the goats too. Reminds me of Switzerland. Beautiful Greek Island. Your videos of Greece the best followed by Switzerland and Andorra. 😊😊😊
Incredible
..Mr Gabriel Traveller and your videos..
Wow. GREAT music selection from 11:30 to 14:20...really trippy!
That was a weird abandoned motel. Shaggy would say “Yikes!! Let’s get out of here scoob!”
Stunning! This is what Heaven must look like.
Yep the tourists shit is pumped into the med just around the corner ! 😈

Absolutely stunning video!!!Thanks for taking us to places we can hope to someday visit. Loved the Beauty of the Island , animals & beaches. The Churches are Beautiful ✝️🙏🏻✝️
That was such a beautiful video! I feel replenished. Great story telling and boundless wisdom shared. Truely awesome....
I really appreciate everything that you do.
The view from that hill looks surreal along with dramatic scene of that sun and also that old church looks quite impressive.
I googled the archeology site, it's behind a beach, it's just scattered remains of ceramics.
You need to visit Methoni messinias greece. There is a boat trip to sapedsia beach. And one of the islands off there there is a flat area where no vegitation grows.
Dude, I love your adventures. Hope I will be able to travel more soon, need that journeys!
Never thought that I would find an Ukrainian in the comment section here except the Ukraine videos.

Loving Greece. Looking forward to the next video 😊
The point of the chapel overlooking the harbour, is that Christian sailors would stop here and pray for safe passage across the waters from storms, pirates and Turks.
Another great video !
9 days till I get to Greece. I get so pumped watching you over there. Greece is awesome. I would like to go to Patmos to read Book of Revelation for my YT. If you are over at Athens 9/3 to 9/8 I would love to have travel chat.
I left Greece, but you'll enjoy Patmos. It's a great island, excellent beaches, lots to explore and the cave is pretty cool. Have fun.
Patmos ...saint John the theologian....APOCALYPSE.....try to visit the cave where it was writen
@@aristosmiliopulos8886 Yes this is my goal. I am a Christian preacher & hope to read it for my YT, Greece is awesome
@@JesusistheLambofGod thank you....have fun in my beloved Greece and Patmos is special because of the cave......my kid is in Sparta right now ,I told him to go to Patmos but he's young so he is going to sandorini for more fun ....as he gets older I'll get him to go
19:51 The signal says "πρόσ γιοι Ανάργυροι" and is traducted like "Toward the Agioi Anargyroi", the name of two small chapels dedicated to the Holy Unmercenaries (Agioi Anargyroi) near the beach of Tourkoneri. The Holy Unmercenaries were saint healers who didn´t accept money for good deeds. Good video Gabriel! Greetings from Paraná, Argentina
Thanks for the info! Greetings from San Lorenzo, Santa Fe, Argentina!
Another one nice video beautiful views 😍 thanks xx
Beautiful places weird though but every place is gorgeous
Nice scenery
Great video. Those were some gorgeous shots from the church. The lighting with the bell was other earthly. You know I think I would go to church if it looked like that. Such a great video!
it is not a church but we call it a chapel

Hello.. Gabriel...amazing. Place.. Thanks 🍀
Great video - loving this series, great balance of information, exploration and just soaking up the atmosphere of a wonderful part of the world. Also glad you finally got the pronunciation of the name of the island right! :)
Thank you Gabriel! 😎🌊☀️❤
Yay, you’re in Alonissos! I’m literally on my way there right this moment. It takes me four days from my first little connecting flight in the US. This year, for all my legs of the journey, all the plane/ferries have departed for the day before I get there. It’s worth it to me. I think. (She says as the airline tells her to reclaim her bag and recheck at each airport!) ;)
Word is that COVID is up in Alonissos. Stay safe and thanks for posting something to drag me through every slow/delayed flight.
Have a great time, one of the best Greek islands.
Hey Gabriel, I am really enjoying this series of trips and especially Greece. I miss traveling and hope to travel again by next summer. We can't even go on trips within Thailand yet because of the virus. Take care my friend.
Ammmmazing
Greece would be nice right now😀😀😀
Hi Gabriel, I'm surprised not to see any solar panels on these islands maybe there around the islands but not in plain sight with the wind-solar energy these islands create ideal conditions for technologies.
Most of the islands have. I guess this one too.
Gabriel can proudly say in 20 years or so „yes I lived my life“ by constantly travelling the world and not working for someone.
He is working for ...himself.
@@jimjim8645 yes and I wrote that he is NOT working for someone but constantly travelling the world.
Restless soul required ! 😇
Feel like I'm there great job making entertaining with edits music and speed ups
That abandoned hotel was spooky! I am always careful/hesitant to go inside abandoned buildings -- In Albania there were a bunch of stray dogs in an old bunker. They were not happy that I decided to drop by -- luckily I backed away and none of them chased after me.
Absolutely stunning scenes! So sad to see those Resort homes abandoned from that earthquake...
Otherwise, intense scenery onthose mountains ⛰ 👍
Beautiful video Gabe!
Thank you Gabe💙☀️beautiful🌳💦🌳💚
Loving your Greek vlogs
I like your greek island videos as I just got back from Rhodes too. I would love to see you visit Hungary, if you'd be interested (as I'm from there). I'm sure you will like it, we have there the biggest lake in Europe, called Balaton. Enjoy the sunshine and the swimming 👍🤗
I've just been to Budapest, but would love to see more sometime: czcams.com/users/gabejedmosearch?query=Budapest
Magnificent view👌❤
The lighthouse looks like Mumin house in Finland.
Very nice music and video
Thanks pal
Very Nice Morris.. Super Job.
You should see south side of Camden, NJ. I'll take any side of Greece over any side of NJ anytime.
Great video.
Gabe: Do ever run into other people at the quaint little Greek churches?
so nice
Cool place. When a domestic turkey is excited his head will turn blue, red when mad.
So close! I’m in Skopoles now
Greece loves you
Cowabunga Dude!! 💓❤️💖🥂💕🏖️
Nice place
I really liked Alonnisos when I went a few years ago. I stayed up in the old village and walked through beautiful pine forest to get to beach. There was a really interesting womens co-operative there as well.
Food in greece looks so delicious. How was that soutszoukakia? only 12 euros as well for all of that stuff is a nice deal indeed
Hahaha. He saw the camera and thought that you didn't talked to him, hahahhah
Am very excited to go to Rhodes in just less than three weeks time!
Wow!
I want more video brother. . . . Keep it up. . . . 👍👍👍
Lots more coming.
Give us your 10 favorite destinations in world🌎 please😃
interesting abandoned places,(5 min approx of video) not sure that was the reason..many of the abandoned toys, furniture etc looked quite modern, much later than 1965...maybe more ,could it be coastal erosion ? or structurally built weak
70 euros for a twin bed room is not bad, that is 35 euros per person
A unique place. Looks pretty much untouched by tourist crowds.
18:52 HAHAHAHAHAHA what a priceless moment you captured.
Abandonment had to be way after 60's. Mini splits in the rooms (and they didn't bother to remove them). Curious.
Alonnisos (Greek: Αλόννησος, [aˈlonisos]), also transliterated as Alonissos, is a Greek island in the Aegean Sea. After Skiathos and Skopelos it is the third member of the Northern Sporades. It is 3 km (2 mi) (2 nm) east of the island of Skopelos
Guess this one is being spelled alonisos, not alonusos

Gabriel, thanks for another great video. Nosey question though. Where do you get all of the money to be on a consistent international vacation?
No worries, see this video: czcams.com/video/f-DT63XoUPc/video.html
@@GabrielTravelerVideos Thanks I'll check it out! I found your channel a few months ago when you were in Alaska and followed since.
@@Casey773 I mean you are watching his videos on his channel. Like other people here. So the answer to your question is right there and should be pretty obvious. There are many people doing that and youtube is just one type of remote online work. Most people do other kinds of remote digital jobs that let them travel like this
Gabriel, another excellent video, but you really should carry a stick in case of wild dogs, Cyclopes or Gorgons! (I once advised you to carry a stick in Hampi, India in case of snakes.)

Greece 🍾🥂👍🍷🍷
I expected Greece to be a little bit cheap but i guess not.
Accommodation is cheaper in low season, you can usually get a room for 25-50 euros.
@@GabrielTravelerVideos ok, thank you Gabriel stay safe & enjoy the food it looks great !!
Gabriel have you been to Forlegandros?
No, haven't been to that one yet.
At 15:20, maybe kissing a turkey for good luck is a thing? This seems likely to increase my odds somehow possibly. This could be encouraging. That vacant lodgings you've walked through seems pretty benign. I could try some of those rooms out, if the earthquakes leave 'em alone for a while longer. Thx Gabe, I'm gonna look more closely at the map now. Nice visit.
fieldBee Actually she gave the Judas' kiss to her tomorrow meal...
Not particularly. In Greece childs and adults want to have strong connection with the nature and all God's creatures. With this way show their gratitude for the animals who get in touch. Especially kids are loving to pet all kind of animals from horses to spiders
@@Gk-ug6gu Spiders? hmmm. I have never met someone who wants to pet spiders.
@@adrianos7334 Firstly, I reference the spiders as a randomly example. But if you want to petting a spider or not is personal preference. Know some guys who are in love with spiders and other insects. So it's personal taste
