Thanks for sharing. I purchased a 1956 Farmall 130 on eBay a couple years ago. Same family since new. It came with cultivators and the side dresser with a pile of “stuff”. They asked if I wanted the fertilizer installed, you bet! To sort that out from scratch would have been a nightmare for a newbie. As I acquired more tractors it really helps to have things explained or mounted. Even the manuals don’t always do justice. Thanks again for sharing.
Thanks for sharing this process. I will be attempting to modify a similar attachment to work on a manual lift model A and wondered how the clutch worked. How great that your granddad kept everything! You're right, most people toss this stuff, unfortunately.
I actually had to modify a super a fertilizer distributor to work on my model A a few years ago. I finally found the original model A distributor in Texas it is being shipped to me now
Really appreciate this video , cuz im learning all this shit from scratch also . You just can't hardly find much info on these old implements . Only way is to see it done or already mounted . Good video ! I'm no full blown farmer or mechanic either . Im a retired av tech and carpenter .
Can you give me the dimensions on the flat stock that bolts to the tractor. You put your finger on it at the 13:20 mark. I’m trying to put one of these on my farmall and it’s the only piece I’m unable to find.
@@bluedodge1994 The flat stock is 11" overall length. It is about 1.25" wide and it looks like it is 3/16" thick. I didn't get the center to center measurement on the holes but the hole on the fertilizer end is about 1/2" from the end. The hole that bolts to the tractor is about 3/4" from the end. I think they are 5/16" diameter. I hope this helps.

It's a darn shame that alot of this knowledge is being lost. I think all the CZcamsrs making homesteading videos are definitely helping.
Enjoyed the video ordered parts for my super a from the same store will possibly be doing a similar video so on how to install a single row planter
I would like to see that
I like it and nice work getting it all sorted out ! We just looked at a Farmall 140 with the same setup this evening . Probably gonna bring it home .
Crane & Rigging 140 is a good tractor.

I’ll get you the dimensions next time I’m at my sisters house. They have that tractor parked in the back of their barn now.
Thank you very much. I greatly appreciate it. I’ve watched your video a couple times on it. I’m unable to find any other videos about it on CZcams.

Can’t find too many farmall accessory videos either. I’m looking for a seed hopper and seeder for a super A..
Do you have any info on those?
Jake Knelsen no. Sorry.
Burchstoretractor. Guys name is Brandon. He is very knowledgeable on the farmall and he has everything you would need.
