There's 2% dmg reduction/dmg bonus per 1 lvl difference from enemies. So for example if you doin insane raid (lv 78 boss) with lv 70 student you've suffering from 16% dmg reduction (2x8). But if your student is lv 80 you have advantage of 4% dmg bonus (2x2). I'll have to say leveling up to the max is important for dmg dealer

grey: 50
blue: 500
gold: 2,000
purple: 10,000
so it doesnt really matter which u buy in the shop, its all the same worth of xp for coin in this case
