Sita by Toru Dutt in Tamil / Bharath Ravindran / Bharath Academy. The story of Sita fascinated Toru Dutt. This poem 'Sita' gives us a glimpse of Sita's life at Valmiki Ashram. The poem narrates the incident of a mother telling her three children the sad tale of Sita's expulsion into the forests by her husband Lord Rama. The three children are the poetess Toru Dutt, her brother Abju and her sister Aru.
