- The Nintendo eShop for both the 3DS and WiiU will be permanently closing on March 27, 2023. Only a few weeks away, so it is time to make some quick purchases before it's too late! I have listed 3DS Games I highly recommned everyone purchase as I know the games are gems!
Be sure to check out the eShop and treat yourself to some amazing 3DS games. Based on my other video , I have stated so many reasons why I believe the 3DS is the best device of all time. So I do highly recommend everyone head over to the eShop!

Animal Crossing New Leaf was so fantastic. I hope the next AC game is modeled more after that than New Horizons on Switch.
Absolutely ‘! I have been playing my 3DS like CRAZY! they need to model Nintendo switch games like the DS ones . Because the DS games just hit different and the storylines and controls are just excellent! They need to bring the super stat saga to the switch !
I think an honorable mention for the RPGs you have recommended is Fantasy Life. It's quirky, it good for those who want to go adventuring and those who just like the casual aspects. Filled to the brim with different classes and skills. For those who don't mind the grind, it is a pretty fun game. Sad to say that with the shop closing today, the Origins Island DLC that was purchasable opened up more fun filled adventures and other collectibles for those who strive for 100% completion, like me.
Yes ! Glad you mentioned it ! Sadly , today is the last day. It’s great you mentioned and brought up these points because it might help people into realizing they might want to pick up some RPG games before the day is over ! It’s bittersweet . But even tho the eshop is closing, the Nintendo 3DS will still be one of the best Nintendo devices ever.

Thank you so much ! I try to get to the point and not sure long intros! I recommend way way way more games ! Honestly almost everything on the eshop is amazing ! I would personally exclude GBA games as Nintendo Is soon about to add them with their Switch online expansion pack!
a few more games that deserve to be mentioned are:
Luigi’s Mansion Dark Moon - This game gets some criticism for the design of the ghosts but I find it fitting to the Luigi series. It’s a ton of fun, splitting the journey across multiple mansions. The Multiplayer is fun.
Epic Mickey Power of Illusion - A mash up of multiple Disney characters that need to be rescued that provide many benefits across your journey. This game makes great use of the bottom screen of the 3DS.
Shovel Knight Treasure Trove - EVERYONE must play this game. It’s very addicting and it’s unlike any other game. This game is genuinely challenging and poses many challenges. Great level design that matches to what class you choose.
100% AGREE ! In my description I listed that I missed a lot of them due to me wanting to not keep the video extremely long ! I actually have and have played the games you listed ! I also forgot to include Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate! There is Monster Hunter 3 but I personally prefer 4 !

Most of the games you listed are made by Nintendo. These are the top sellers so most people have the ones they want. Leaving out games by Capcom, Level 5 and Atlus, for example, is a shame. No Professor Layton, Ace Attorney, Shin Megami Tensei, Radiant Historia, Etrisn Odyssey, Fantasy Life, Ever Oasis, Yo-Kai Watch...
Yes ! There are actually more games I wanted to list , I have a lot of games that I do recommend. But I only listed the ones I know are FOR SURE on the eshop! I am so disappointed a lot of the best ones aren’t on the eshop which means I have to resort to eBay and Amazon 😭

@@adammayo4377 YES! Even DS games I want are $50-75! They were only $19.99 at the time !!! I am not buying anything from Gamestop as I believe their prices are unreasonable and you can find much better games at local flea markets and thrift shops.

Such a bummer they pulled the plug on the shops. Still, thanks for making this list! I decided to snag Metroid Prime Hunters through the WiiU eshop so I could enjoy it on the big screen.

I definitely will! I actually go to flea markets for games ! They’re a small stand but they carry hidden gems !!! I’ve actually been playing my 3DS non stop since the closure ! Not the ones mentioned in the video (because I couldn’t fit all the games in as they video would be to long 😅) but I’ve just been loving my 3DS again. It’s still the best Nintendo device ever ! I need to do a Vlog trying to find 3DS /DS Games In markets and thrift stores lol!

It breaks my heart because the 3DS is probably one of my fav Nintendo devices of ALL time ! There are many many more 3DS games that are AMAZING that the Nintendo eshop unfortunately doesn’t carry ! But these are some of the best (in my opinion)!
It was the hearts that made me subscribe. I mean, it’s also because I like your content and I recently bought my first 3DS, but the hearts were the deciding factor.
Actually I like them so much that I had a pair tattooed on my own cheeks. Now I’ve decided that it’s my life’s purpose to make the world a better place by altruistically painting hearts on the cheeks of as many people as possible. Some of them play funny jokes by shouting things like “Get him off me JESUS GET HIM OFF ME!” or thanking me with an affectionate punch (to the face). Some of them even make an ironic show of pretending to try and escape, but I know how much they secretly want a set of hearts so I don’t stop till I’ve caught them and made sure they’re properly behearted.
Sometimes people in dark uniforms start chasing me, and they must REALLY want to be given cheekhearts cos they keep yelling “Stop where you are!” and “Hands behind your head, NOW!” (obviously they want to properly admire my magnificent heart tats), but they’re so keen on it that they actually seem kind of agitated, so I just run away.
It doesn’t work the other way around, by the way. I tried dressing up in scrubs and sneaking into the surgical theatre of my local hospital, but painting cheeks on a heart just doesn’t look anywhere near as good, plus I got shouted at a lot :(
I’m glad ! The hearts are something I like to do because it adds a little something ! It’s a form of expression just like any other makeup people add ! I like adding flowers and mini hearts but it’s just that they’re so fun and different ~!

I like my 3DS some of the exclusive games on that system like super smash bros for 3DS Mario Party the top 100 and super Mario 3D land offer something unique and different than the Nintendo switch I think it’s really cool!
Exactly! Plus, having a dual screen is absolutely amazing . I think that it’s one of the best features to interact with a device as oppose to one screen! Such an underrated device that will NEVER die out !
A lot of these are fairly cheap and are available physically, so luckily the eshop closure won't effect them much
I think for now they’re cheap. But they will eventually increase in price . Not all 3DS games are on the eshop (depends on which region you’re in) and those one are expensive and so hard for me to get

Most of these videos are stuck on AAA titles, but there is a lesser know series that I fell in love with is Silver Falls. These games expand 3DS,Wii U, and Switch. With only a solo developer making these games was incredible before the end and each game is a different play style worth getting them. Also the series is continuing on the Switch.
That’s amazing ! I’ wish a lot of 3DS games would rolls over to the switch . Im aware that some do but not all! There are even some DS games i REALLY LOVE that didn’t make it over even to the 3DS 😢!
I mentioned in the description that I unfortunately can’t fit all 3DS games I wanted since the video was already long as it is . Also , some 3DS games are sadly not on the eshop and especially for certain regions .

@@jentendo64 I'm not going to lie you did mention some great titles. I will be getting inside Bowser game. It is sad that the shop is closing and the physical games are over priced now. Thank you for your video I will be watching more of your videos. Also if you are interested in Silver Falls check out Sungrand (Jerrel) games. Yes they are flawed, but for a single person making these games is super impressive. His live streams are fun to watch and gives you insight the challenges a developer faces.

I know ! That is the only thing I absolutely could not stand with the 3DS ! The regular DS and DS games were not region locked so you could collect as many different types of games you want . Hated that the 3DS wasn’t like that. Although you can play regular DS games on the 3DS region or not . Still love the device however , that aspect was very very annoying

@@jentendo64 I picked up a few things like half a year ago but I forgot about it because of real life stuff. Good point about picking ups physical games, but the loss of digital exclusives like the original Steam World game hurts.
Shame I won't get the chance to complete the Dillon's Rolling Western trilogy. I still can't believe the third game never went on sale across the dozens of times I checked the eShop over the past 5 years.

Also, I understand the games are expensive! I myself and in the process of collecting other 3DS games (ones I couldn’t mention in the video as it was long as it is) but it’s definitely a slow process. Hopefully by the end of the year everyone will at least be able to get a few before costs inflate

Because not everyone wants to do piracy for video games. I mean I personally have one but I own 2 3Ds’s. One with the Hbrew and another with games I paid for. My cousin for example doesn’t wanna do any of the Emulation type business. He’s not into it and would rather own a game he wants to play.

I just love them ! I like to decorate everything with hearts or butterflies ! It just adds a fun pop! Just like when other people express themselves with colorful makeup and eyeshadow, I choose heart blush 😃!

I will definitely check it out on switch as well since I like having both ! Sometimes they add features on the switch! But also storyline of games on the 3DS for me is personally better !
While this list was fine you recommended the most basic ass games for the 3DS here's some that wouldn't get recommended most of the time just as an example: Codename S.T.E.A.M, Sonic Lost World, Sonic Boom: Fire and Ice, Yo-Kai Watch, Hey Pikmin, etc. The games you recommended make it seem like you just Googled good 3DS games and shoved those on your list
Nah. I chose games I like and recommended. Also some I thought everyone would like and enjoy. Some are also my fav from my DS/3DS collection.
This video is older and I was considering making an updated list since everyone recommended others they like and prefer .
Thanks for adding the other games you prefer . The games you recommend are also very basic and generic games that I’m sure a lot of people have heard of and at least played one of them . Iconic games tho. I liked Sonic and Pikmin and borrowed Yo-Kai Watch .
based on the sheer amount of misinformation in this video i think it’s safe to say you haven’t played most of these games. i think it’s better to be transparent with your audience and please offer more variety in the games you pick. you don’t need to list every pokémon and every mario and luigi game on the system when there are so many other games you left out
Actually in fact I have and to this day still own and have almost every single one in my collection. Yes, I agree there are games I didn’t feature that actually are great . But the video would’ve been longer . This video is based on games I enjoy and would want others to play so we can communicate how fun they are and share similar fun experiences which is pretty much what the whole gaming community is for .
Ironically it’s males who like to commentate and put down others. Sorry to inform you, but females can enjoy other games than games than the ones you’re accustomed to .
I enjoy my games and I see you think that’s wrong. These games are out there for people like me and others to enjoy. That’s the whole point In why they’re created . I won’t apologize nor change myself from enjoying the games I like and enjoy.

@@jentendo64 first of all “females can enjoy other games than what you are used to”. i’m a female. i get it sexism is everywhere but not in my comment. you didn’t include variety in your games, i’m not telling you to put first person shooters or fighting games or stupid rpgs that i’ve seen every man recommend. let’s take the pokémon franchise for example, you only talked about mainline games and literally mentioned all of the mainline games for the 3ds. that’s excessive. there’s pokémon rumble, pokémon picross, detective pikachu or mystery dungeon series that you could’ve mentioned instead. i mean a third of your video is mario, i get it i love mario but again it’s a lot, and not enough variety. what about warioware gold? or luigi’s mansion. i think you had five mario rpgs in your video, even if that’s your favourite game series ever, if you want people to be interested in those games, recommend one or two to get them started. other nintendo properties like professor layton or tomodachi life would be great to include. and personally i recommend style savvy: fashion forward (also called style boutique in the uk) it’s literally all i’ve played for the past week.

there’s not much to explore. why get people’s hopes up. it’s basically deeper fishing in the ocean and that’s it.

mallo is the character you play as, not pushmo. pushmo isn’t even a character, it’s the type of puzzle
after reading all these parts i found to be incorrect hopefully you understand why i don’t believe you’ve played all these games
I'm glad you paid that much attention in the video.
It has been several years since I've played some games. I haven't touched some of my 3DS games unfortunately since I have been busy. Maybe I did recall some things wrong since I was speaking on some games I haven't played in 7+years. I've played so many other games over the years so it all becomes muddled after a while. In my vlogs you can see me reemerging back into my 3DS little by little.
I actually do have Luigi's mansion and Tomodachi Life . Both are still in great condition and I wish I could play them again but I've been so preoccupied with my switch that I have put my 3DS to the side. Even this video is a little older
Yes you're absolutely right , I could have included variety but I wanted to include my fav games and ones I thought everyone would enjoy. Viewers of my channel are a younger audience so I do try to pick games that are age appropriate and I think they would enjoy.
Also, there is a miscommunication in my explanations . But I wouldn't go so far as to call it misinformation. It's very hard to include games people request and others from my live ask to mention. Making these videos is a learning experience as well as trying to please my viewers who show tons of support as well as trying to appeal to a newer audience .
I do apologize that you didn't enjoy the video . But this video was a while ago, but you've given me a great idea to include maybe an updated list for 2024 . Include more variety since I have new subscribers and viewers now who might also be interested in other types of games
But doing these videos is difficult as I mention it is difficult to appease and appeal to everyone. But I will take your advice and better improve my English skills, editing and communication . I will welcome this constructive criticism
