- We finally got our hands on the Canyon Stitched CFR Trials Bike! This is the bike that @wibmerfabio and @TomomiNishikubo both ride, and at the moment, it's not available in North America.
Through our friends at Canyon, we were able to arrange to have a bike shipped over for testing, and that's exactly what we're going to do with this thing.
If you want to read up on all the details of this bike, go check it out here: www.canyon.com/en-cr/mountain...

The Fabio wig had me LOL. So good. As for the long brake line, you can try out just pre-wrapping a few spins of the bar to neaten it up until you want to do bar spins.
Agreed - the cabling needs a bit of work to pre-wrap, I think I might need to take the lever off to get it done proper. But once that’s set, we’ll be good to go!
We won't have to do any of that, right...
I'm in tears of laughter, everyone in the house is asleep but they very nearly weren't!
Well done Aaron and 'Fabio'.
I am excited to see the next one on how it rides!
🤣🤣
Your content always keeps me hooked brother, great video as always 🎯
Thanks Coach!! 🙏🙏
Can't wait to see you ride this !
Me too - excited to test it out!
So awesome glad you have one can’t wait for a ride review! 👊🏻
Fired up to ride this thing and see what it's all about!
@@SuperRiderTV have to say under 3k for carbon trials bike is good !
Holy Macaroni! Mario is your delivery guy? 🤣
He’s a man of many talents! 👨🏻
That intro was incredible! XD Amazing bike, it'd be rad if they produced it for sale in North America!
Haha thanks! Come ride it, you know the spot! ;)
Looking forward to the first ride! I’m so curious about how this bike feels. I also wonder if they plan to sell it in North America. Though I have heard from Yohan and trials forums that it’s actually not very well built... I’d be interested in a more in depth analysis of why this is
Super curious to dig into it on that first ride, for sure!
I'm riding it since a while now and its awesome. Just need to swap hubs directly after unboxing 😛
Can't wait to see you on this toy 💪
I’m excited to test it!
🤣!!!
Those new style MT7's look cool!
Personally where I live in the City this bike would be stolen quick time!
Did you notice that extra extension on the cylinder? I wonder what that’s for..
I love this comtent😁
Haha thanks!!
Fabio Wig-mer could be your new alter ego.
Hahahaha so good! 🤣
I thought I watch Super Mario with Owen Wilson on the scene...... Excited to see your rides on that...
Haha thanks! Excited to test it out!
I thought real hard about proxy-shipping this bike from the EU somewhere to get it to the US. I reached out to Canyon and found out the rear hub only had like 32 engagement points (as I recall anyway), so the cost of rebuilding the wheels, proxy shipping, and upgrading the floating brake rotors (why would they put floating rotors on a trials bike…), it made the Stitched not such a great value. Ended up with a Fourplay Team.
That's a great option, for sure. I think it feels A LOT like a Fourplay, with the only real exception being the steeper head angle. Hard to go wrong with the Fourplay, though - every part on that bike is top spec!
Hey man! This frame has 1.5” straight head tube, right?
I think it's tapered down to 1 1/8 for the steerer tube, but I'll have a closer look!
I never saw either live, but after seeing the CFR in the video I have the feeling the Extention Avenger looks much better...Price is about the same and I think the Avenger comes with carbon handlebars already....but the chain tensioning system seems so much better (and hidden) on the Avenger. But anyway in the end...it's all about skills....though I like tech stuff and eye candy...
There are other factors, for example the canyon has a 10 year warranty
I was thinking about returning to all the spots that I rode the Avenger, so I could give a proper comparison between the two. It seems like the geometry of this bike is closer to my Inspired Fourplay, where the Avenger was a much shorter bike. Curious to see how it handles at those same spots!
Bro🤣.. awesome work
Thanks!! 🤣🤣
@@SuperRiderTV you will reach the heights. Thousand times better than other videos on CZcams.
That means a lot! 🙏🙏
💪💪
🙌
Please keep this at the Shred Spot until I can come test it. 😉👍🏼
Ready when you are!
It's a breath taking bike.
Agreed! This was a fun one to unbox!
I've always built my bikes from individual components, from back when you had to use a mixture of cross country, downhill, dirt jump, and even road bike parts. It's good that people new to the sport can just buy a complete bike, but I winder if it's creating a divide where people think they can't do trials because they don't have a trials bike?
I do feel like that's been a perceived barrier to entry to the sport for a long time - which is a big reason why I've done so many tutorials on my MTB. I may end up doing even more on the MTB this year, for exactly that reason. :)
at the price it costs id hope they included all that.
Is it best in 24" ?
This bike only comes in 24" wheels....truthfully I prefer 26" for my bikes, but this one is pretty fun to ride!
"Who sends a torque wrench?" I bought a bike from bikesonline and it came with that stuff
Pretty cool when they go the extra mile with stuff like that, right? Those extra little bits go a long way.
Mario delivers packages? lol

The plumbing business has slowed down.
Im not a fan, Its very expensive with a very poor choice of components. Especially the DT Swiss rear hub is a massive letdown. Something reliable with high engagements such as a Hope is essential for trials. Quality and suitable components far outweigh the only slight advantage of the carbon frame.
I think you could be right on the DT Swiss - that was my big question on the spec (and price). The Team-level bikes from Inspired all come with Hope hubs, and that might be the most important difference between the two bikes. I wonder if swapping hubs to something like an i9 would completely remedy it, though?
could you weigh the bike with the pedals in the original configuration please?
For sure…did yours come with pedals? I wonder if they forgot to put them in or if it’s intentional..
this bike has a lot of problems that need to be modified.
incomprehensible on the part of Canyon, the rotors, the brake pads, the rear hub it is not suitable and dangerous, the chain the same ....
Oof…I haven’t ridden it yet, curious to see more about this. I’m thinking the rear wheel is the main issue - the Inspired Team bikes come with a Hope freehub, which is worth the extra money. Ultimately I think if it doesn’t come with a Hope or i9 hub, it’s not going to meet the demands of the top riders.
Hi Yohan, interested in knowing more about what's wrong with rear hub and chain on this bike. Not enough engagement points? Not robust enough? Thanks for your feedback!
So yummy!
🙌

incomprehensible from Canyon, the rotors, the pads, the unsuitable and even dangerous rear hub, the chain.....
I'm assuming you replaced your rear hub, what did you go with? I think it's a 12x148mm width, correct?
