Fun fact: the whistling of the seraphites was inspired by the whistling of La Gomera, an island in the Canarian Archipelago where the hunters and shepherds used it to communicate when they are far from each other.

This was the best part of the game. The thick grass, the hanging bodies, the eerie fires burning off in the distance, very surreal and atmospheric. Felt like something out of the movie Apocalypse Now. I wish we got to see more of the Seraphites in the game because they were a genuinely creepy and interesting group.
For me seraphites are more scarier than the infecteds. Haha especially the whistling

This game has the best environments/gameplay I've ever seen, story aside, on a technical level, this game is a masterpiece.
Shot in the Heart could have been better the story was decent imo, I can replay the first one and not get bored, I was bored on only my 3rd playthrough of part 2

i loove the small details they have in the game. like in 2:58 when ellie slide with her right arm, you can see it got scratched and bleeding but before it wasn't

This was my favorite part in the whole game. Sneaking through the woods picking off the scars one by one was so bad ass. It kinda makes me wish the whole game was about Ellie and the scars but oh well.
Ellie would have never went to Seattle if Abby wasn't in the game. Jackson is all the way in Wyoming. Plus, I think Abby had the best encounters with the infected and Seraphites. Day 2 & 3 for Abby was intense.
I was hoping Ellie would would be forced to team up with Abby to fight the Wolves/Scars, instead of the huge time jump and the Rattlers being thrown in. That said I appreciate the story for what it is. I just really wanted Abby and Ellie to reach some understanding. It could never be friendship, but...
@@lilscenechick1995 seems like a maybe idea for the third game, maybe when Abby and Lev find the fire flies Abby maybe finds something out and lev, Abby, Ellie, ( or more ) could take down the fireflies once and for all. Maybe a game idea but probably not possible I mean who rlly knows? But that would seem like a good game, Abby and Ellie taking down the fireflies. Just sayin... maybe.

This probably took me an hour and I died like 20 times lol, I feel ashamed, I guess it's cause I always try to run away and by the time I got to the top, I was surrounded by tons of hostiles and the checkpointing kinda locks you into bad decisions lol

you could always go to options > accessibility > combat > turn on invisible while proning so no enemies nor infected will see you or hear you ! ik its not as fun but you can definitely do a lot more stealth and die less lol i saw someone suggest that in another video , i haven’t tried it out yet but yeah haha
@@venusbabixo You can also enhance your dodging in options. That helps me.
you should make a walk through cause watching you play is more enjoyable than most other ppl. you got the combat down real well

Every game software developer who’s main character is a badass should send u a copy of the game, for u to play, upload and show us how the character really should be played. I went through this whole game without using smoke bombs and trap mines. I think I definitely should’ve used them

I wish they didn’t show the “strange whistles” in the subtitles when you first hear it as I just knew something was up so the getting sort thing didn’t frighten me as much as it was maybe intended to. If they didn’t have it I might’ve still suspected something, but for all I know it could’ve been a bird of some sort as the only bird call I know of is the gulls constantly shagging outside my window every night...

Pro tip if you’re caught on the right ledge where there's almost no grass nearby, immediately hug the wall and move right you can make it to a tiny patch of short grass to enter stealth before they see you. Let’s you start on your own terms instead of having to fight loud.
When I got to this part, the graphics were so incredibly stunning. One of the best I've seen. Great job ND.

Even though I wasn’t a fan of the story I can’t get over how amazing the gameplay and graphics are and how much of a badass Ellie became in Part 2

Lost count on how any times I've played TLOU and TLOU Part 2, but it always feels so fresh every time I play them. I love it when, for example, Ellie, goes prone after running, and the way she slides on the grass.

Removing the arrow from the body is not good thing in most cases. It makes you bleed a lot more than leaving it in if they did this way it would have been very exiting to play.

And i should say that if you get shot by an arrow you can’t get it out so easly you need to be very very strong because it will be stuck to your bone so if you get it out you will faint or spew which may cause you get caught.There is a better solution for this getting rid of the arrows long part so you can move easily.

I love this part man. Them serephites are really fun to fight against, most of the time I just plant bombs all over the place and watch them blow to bits. Then I wide on the grass and as they get closer I shoot them with the arrow.

this is/was one of the best levels in the game! the scenario, ambiente, light, details, vegetation,.. is fukking awesome!
I missed so many collectibles in this chapter, even though I was actively looking. Need to replay this sometime.
This is why I recommend this game despite really disagreeing with the story. The atmosphere, the graphics, the animation, the sound... It's just that good.
There are better games with better gameplay and graphics than this bs.
If we, the fans, wanted to play a ND game related to TLoU, the history is the most important, if the only good things are just the gameplay and "pretty graphics" then the game is not worth 60$, maybe and just maybe 10$

Only thing came to me is evil within & EW2 (3rd person stealth survival horror) & metro (1st person stealth survival horror)
Metro is not nearly as cinematic as this, and enemy AI is clearly better here, especially if you let them

Their coats are made from leather. When you go to Scar Island you can see they are really into woodworking and carpentry. They've also got rawhides laying about. You could think of them as post-apocalyptic Amish or Menonites.
Yours is perhaps the only TLOU2 gameplay I would watch out of all.

I just finished the game in Survival+ and it was one of the toughest gameplays of my life, 25 hours and 48 minutes of gameplay
It was challenging but thats nothing compared to brutal mode in uncharted 1 2 3 hardest thing ever completed

I believe its a call out to confirm everyone is good. As if you kill someone and they don't whistle back, they investigate.
@@zackbedingfield2805 That's what I was thinking, but the whistles are also probably a form of communication where each one means something different. Words are literally a bunch of sounds merged together and that's how we speak, so it'd be possible to create s whistle language as well. On a side note, it bothered me that whenever I killed scars their buddies wouldn't get suspicious after not hearing the whistles anymore.

Glad you didn't use listen mode like a scrub lol. Kinda sad they force it on you. I just ignore it and rely on my headphones like every other search and destroy crumlord.
It's in the game how does it make you better or worse. The same way you use your headphones to hear where enemies are at is the same way the characters listen for enemies. On top of that, some gamers like myself don't have a headset.

What I like about this game is the multiple weapons you can use like the bow and arrow and the shotgun and the silenter pistol and other weapons
After playing through this part in grounded, survival is like a literal walk in the park for me.
