How do you attach your post and railings thanks
We use surface mount railings so we add blocking per the plan provided by fastenmaster. To block in between joists or at ends we simply rip a piece of pressure treated to 7 1/4 then insert it and screw it off.
do the guys still add butyl tape to the tops of the joists ?
No, we are using the new fastenmaster coating now.
