Interesting bike. I’ve never seen the 3 spoke hubs before. I’ve not seen that speedo, either. Looks like it would fit into one of the one-piece headlight buckets. Loved the Mr. T reference! 🤣
Hiya buddy, yeah the 3 spoke were only in the honda chaly 12vs that I know off. Yeah the speedo is the same size as the sts and cts. Have you ever seen any honda chalys over in the usa? Haha Mr t. Love the gold chains.
@@monkeyroo8740 they're gold them 12v covers buddy . I have one on the 150 build . Looking forward to the build . Could you powder clear coat the frame ?
@@tedvegas5586 was just thinking if I could just powder clear coat it, worth an ask. The flywheel cover has a little hole in it, but should be able to fix it
Great wee project bike buddy, never knew this model existed, interesting with 12v and upside-down forks. By the way I got a few original parts for mine from webike in Japan and they were reasonably priced. A lifan 110 or 125 would make that bike move a bit! Look forward to see what you do with it
Hiya buddy and cheers, yeah I've heard of webike but I'm yet to purchase anything of them. I'm going down tbe lifan route with this one,as I'm going to be using it as a daily. Either rat bike or immaculate not sure yet
Deffo a patina, rat bike with maybe with a good dose of anchor wax ( if that’s what it’s called) and a lifan or YX140 for big smiles and worry free use, can’t beat a bit with character , plenty of garage queens around , will watch with interest cheers!
@@monkeyroo8740Wow mate, how many Chalys are “tucked away” in your shop? Those must be a dime a dozen over there, across the pond. I’ve often wondered what it would cost to have a Chaly frame shipped to the U.S..

I am watching you from Limassol Cyprus. I have a chaly but its the 6v. Cheers.
Hello and thanks for watching. This chaly I'm doing now is from Cyprus its in good condition for its age.
Nice model, i have the same AT Chaly with E-Starter
Hiya buddy. Nice one. Mine hasn't got a electric starter, but I will be putting a 125 lifan in it soon.
Lovely project buddy. You can use the flywheel cover on the lifan . The 12v side casing is wider.❤
Hiya bud, cheers it's going to be a cracker this one. Cheers for the tip on the flywheel cover. It will make it more authentic.

Cheers bud. Yeah I'm thinking rat bike too. Strip the frame and clear coat. It's going to be a cracker this one, and cheers for watching.
