Had a corduroy coat very similar to that but in a deep plum that I loved. Wore it so much, wore it out lol. 💖💖

Dave, love your up cycle on the bag! Such a great idea. I had a pink one just like that back in 1969 😊 I think it was considered like a carry on or train case. Dave that purse came out beautifully, I’m so inspired. I love to save furniture off of the street and I like to do distress finishes with homemade chalk paint. Love the brown handle.
Thank you. It is so much fun saving furniture off the street and seeing what you can do with it. We had two chalk painted fridges at one time. One black and one pink. Great to make paintings on with soft pastels💕💕💕

Love the final outcome! I upcycled jewelry and use a gold paste wax product on the edges of my painted metal! Something like that might make the handle pop and give it some extra depth and a lil glow up! I’m sure you will come up with something clever!!!! Thanks for the grand studio tour!!!!

I’d love to see a “decluttering” type video if you guys ever wanted to film your process of when you decide to let an item go and why 😊
Our process of " decluttering " usually involves deciding which location an item will be stored. If we do not love something we decide whether it will go to our upcycling storage or be donated. Hope you are having a beautiful day:)
Oh that bag is the bomb! And I must say, that Blumarine cord coat...what a find!!!! Now I was thinking when I saw you try on one of those silky blouses (pink) in the prior video, Heather. You're always pushing up the outside of the padded shoulders. Do you think it would be possible to make an extra little shoulder pad that you could add to the end (or padding sewn onto the pad that exists) that would kind of turn the end of the shoulders up a bit, to get that kind of couture look. Whether pointed or rounded. Just an idea. That same video was where you tried on all the dressy things...it really had a "get ready for the holidays" feeling. I hope you have a holiday party to go to!

I think I will try adding more padding to the shoulders...or stitching...or both, to make the shoulders puffier. Thank you!!!
