      Hello. That's right, that's the version I was referring to. It should be in stock in the first weeks of June. No reviews yet, let's see whether I can get hands on a sample. Cheers.

    - no info about their custom PWB
    - no connector for sat receiver
    have to now search the web for any info..

    Do I have to go through all that computer stuff with this quad if I decide to buy it??

    • @DronesVisuals
      @DronesVisuals  Před 7 lety

      Hello. No, it comes ready to fly out of the box. The computer thing is optional. Cheers.

    Nice clear and helpful review but can't help but think it's just been made cos they have some leftovers from the falcon/pro and thought fuck it let's make a racer pro. I have a racer 250 and a wizard. Now after seeing this I'm expecting a x220 pro which I'm almost certain will be a fail cos the wizard is already a really good quad and I've had no issues at all and truly love it.

      @DronesVisuals  Před 7 lety +1

      Hello. Yeah, rumor has it the X220 is pro is coming. Regarding the Racer 250, I continue to believe it is exclusively for beginners switching from brushed quads to FPV racers. Still some things could have been clearly improved. Cheers.

      Wow a pro wizard so soon I mean I've had the racer for about 18months now. I really can't see how they can improve on it without the price being a lot more (better cam,vtx,motors,esc etc) the cameras are the worst part of the eachine group.only time will tell and maybe my next one lol

    Well it looks good and sounds good but Eachine lost me with all the extra stuff you will need to do on the computer before you even start working on the drone and for that reason they can keep it .

    • @DronesVisuals
      @DronesVisuals  Před 7 lety

      Hello. No, you don't really need to do anything. It comes ready to fly out of the box. I did all that just to show what options you have in terms of upgrade or connectivity. The annoying issue with Cleaflight it's their fault, not Eachine's. Cheers.

      Cool thanks for correcting me . I am in search of a 250 style racer (Cheap) to learn acro with , i do own the Kingkong GT 210 and the Holybro Shuriken X1 200mm Quads . Any suggestion would help .

    • @DronesVisuals
      @DronesVisuals  Před 7 lety +1

      Hello. Why don't you try with the KingKong GT210? Cheers.

    • @hellorc4354
      @hellorc4354 Před 7 lety

      + Drone Visual Hello , and that would be my first choice using the Kingkong GT if i had to but these are my first two racing quads so i don't want to hurt them anymore than i have lol . Money is not the issue i just don't want to sink a lot of money into something that i will be running into the ground into trees and probably into a wall or two . I think i narrowed it down to the Eachine Falcon Pro . What do you think ?

  • @fpvshowdown9545
    @fpvshowdown9545 Před 7 lety +3

    well they made another, just as horrible quard. the connectors in the pdb will break and i also think the arms will to.. just can't find a reason to buy this rather then a wizard x220. but great video.

    • @DronesVisuals
      @DronesVisuals  Před 7 lety +1

      Hello. If you have been flying for a while, this is not the right choice. Indeed, you would rather want to make a move on the Wizard X220. But those migrating from brushed quads, may find the Eachine Racer 250 Pro appealing. Cheers.

      @fpvshowdown9545 Před 7 lety +1

      it's just, I bought the Racer 250 long time ago, as my first quad. it was a waste of money and time. since I was new I crashed ;) and it only hold 3 days before an arm went, then a motor and so on... I would say. get a proper quad from the start. in carbon. :) But yea. a big fan of your channel :) always great videos.

    Nice review! Thanks for your effort!
    In my opinion - The same Eachine piece of shit! Only this time it's a Pro piece of shit!
    If it was me, I would take the FC, camera, motors and ESCs, and put them on a Martian II frame for example. The "famous and popular all over the world" FlySky radio transmitter is not bad at all. Could be firmware upgraded to 10 channel I-bus. But the iA6 receiver?!? Hallo - 21-st century!! WTF is PWM???

    • @DronesVisuals
      @DronesVisuals  Před 7 lety +1

      Hello. I appreciate you feedback. I have to disagree with the shit part thou. The way I see it, the Eachine Racer 250 has been always intended for beginners; people who won't necessary worry about protocols such as pwm, ppm, sbus, etc. or the best flight controller and so on. This racer is intended for those transitioning to FPV racers from brushed quads, or brushless GPS quads. Having said this, I would still have opted for some changes. The firmware can be upgraded and you can get it running on Betaflight if you wish. For iBus you could use the iA6B receiver, no problem. Cheers.
