Today we visit the IPortRail depot at Doncaster where I came across 2 very rude security people that tried to intimidate me and wanted to know if I could read. How rude can you get.

you've got a lot of subs in a short space of time. that's cause of the fact that ur a unique auditor and actually educate on different types of business at the same time rather than just doing plain audits. explaining how sectors and businesses work is very interesting, especially ones that many people may not have considered or thought about much
It's also an excellent cover story so it remains like a "mystery shopping" style test.

9:55 So he had to come out to show you a piece of paper about taking photographs "on site". That means it can't apply for all your filming before he showed that paper to you. And I bet that paper is the list of rules when on site, past the gate, where hi-viz and safety gear should be worn.

Polish driver has better manners than UK security.
Less Co2 Rail are Tesco along with the normal Tesco ones from Stobart, see them all the time coming from Motherwell Eurocentral rail depot going to the Tesco warehouse at Livingston. Mr Security thought that that sign said no photography and screwed up.

Never have and never will buy anything via Amazon, they have a place Near the A1 in Bowburn with a roundabout that causes chaos to the people using what used to be a straight piece of road.
5:25 When someone says you're not allowed to take film on site, you should ask them if you can hop on one leg or hold a helium balloon. When they stop being so silly you can reply that you aren't being silly, they are with their silly demands. If they don't want people on site, they should stick to the line that only authorised people are allowed on site and then they can implement their policies. They should also stick to the line that you are being asked to leave without clouding it about being in regards to your activities. By saying it's only because you are filming they open themselves up to potential civil claims over the human rights act.

The reason for those extension pieces at the back of the Skel trailer PJ are due to shipping containers exceeding the UK's maximum allowable articulated vehicle length limit of 16.5 metres. As such, there is an exemption when actually carrying shipping containers allowing a maximum combination length of 16.65 metres but those extension pieces must be retracted when not carrying a shipping container. Most other countries around the world simply manufacture Skel trailers at the required length without the need for those extension pieces. (That's the stuffy UK for you and their outdated rules).The reason for the various available trailer lengths are again due to carrying single heavy 20ft containers which obviously have to be transported roughly in the middle of the trailer but you then need it at the back of the trailer for unloading purposes. As such, you either retract the hydraulic locking pins and reverse the truck with the trailer brakes applied which reduces the trailer length and puts the container doors at the back of the trailer for the loading dock or you may have a fixed chassis trailer which has a movable carriage by means of an electric motor which moves the whole 20 foot container to the back of the trailer for unloading purposes. Unfortunately, If you have a very heavy container, the trailer very often doesn't want to retract and for those of us with a separate trailer brake lever in the cab (probably not in the UK), you find yourself having to get a bit of speed up in reverse and then suddenly apply the trailer brake which hopefully gives it an extra bit of force to finally close up the trailer.

6:37 that's a good one, in all the years I've been watching audits nobody's said that, nice one👌 I was thinking if you got a t shirt with the bill of rights public filming laws printed on it and got it signed by the local mayor or MP and wore that when auditing that'll go well, they ask you any questions and you can point it out on your shirt
So the guy reading the rules hasn't got on high-vis and is wearing trainers (unless they're steel toe capped.) The other guy hasn't got high vis and is wearing shiny brown shoes. They usually want you wear a 'safety' helmet as well - good luck with that one if a container fails on you.

Ahhh yes Iport Rail, where them less co2 by rail trailers are is where I used to pick up my container and bring back down to Felixstowe. Companies pay to use them bays. Our northern driver would deliver the container I dropped off there and I would pick his empty up. Had many 45s in that Trailer area 😂

They knew that you were filming and ingratiated themselves onto the footage, when they could have easily stayed in their nice warm office and would have been hidden away from the camera. You would have been there for less time... and you wouldn't have wasted footage by filming them, if only they had let you get the footage you wanted...!

If you have a 20ft box it sits in the middle for weight distribution to load or unload slide the boogie for the doors to be on the bay used to do them on yard shunting
