That sunroof! I have scarcely used mine and thought it was OK. Water was coming into the car and that was the last area that one would have suspected! One day, I thought of checking on it. On opening it, I found it rather dusty.
I poured water into it and the water did NOT LEAVE. Months before, I remember reversing down my driveway and hearing the slush of water! I now realize that the sunroof drain defect was the source of the problem. I got a suction unit and cleared the corners of the sunroof. The suction tube got into a hole on the side that was blocked. After several cycles of pouring water and applying the suction, the water started leaving quickly. I could pour about a gallon and the water ran through to somewhere behind the front wheels. Please do not like me, underestimate that sunroof!
