As someone in the USA the bot problem is awful now. So many accounts posting misleading content to take you off the platform.
Love the investigative/journalistic style! Enjoyed hearing your perspective on this. I personally have seen far less bots on twitter since Elon took over but havenât been too big of fan with the âFor You.â Way too many snuff/fights/shootings videos.
You should do a video on which Algorithm does the best job sharing content youâll enjoy.

Howdy!!
I hope you just didn't do your research but didn't you know that who got the blue check mark wasn't always who should get it. For example, TheQuartering has over a million subscribers on CZcams and over 100K on Twitter and never got it until Elon took over Twitter. Jeremy of TheQuartering repeatedly tried to get it but was always denied while those with insignificant followings got it. And this all leaned left, which is another thing you didn't mention in your video. Not to mention on how many got their blue check mark by paying for it under the table, which again is something you didn't mention in your video. So you making it out that the old verification was just fine is at minimally slightly misleading. And then you only lightly touched on the bot problem that was an epidemic on Twitter. It was a major problem and many unethical characters used it to manipulate polls, likes, etc. on Twitter. Now that bot-runners have to pay $8/month for each of their bots, that alone has GREATLY killed the problem. And then there was the blatantly manipulation of news events on Twitter. Any news item that the left-leaning staff at Twitter didn't like got suppressed, if not banned. Oh, and let us not forget they banned the President of the United States of America for no good reason. OH! Or Elon letting us know just how the government was manipulating, if not controlling Twitter and other social media! I am not saying Twitter is now perfect under Elon but it is far FAR better now.
Now if you, Ben, don't think getting a blue check mark is important enough for you, that's fine. However, I find such a decision odd as you're trying to be a social media creator and the blue check mark lets you upload longer videos (like this one) to Twitter.
I see what youâre saying but having problems with Twitter before hand doesnât really equate to the points Iâm making here. The system was what it was - it has and is changing across social media. What I aimed to do was understand how the system is different now. Anything that I couldnât find evidence for (left-leaning bias, how under-the-table verification worked, how much the bot problem has been fixed), couldnât be included because it couldnât be objectively proven.
